According to what arc? Carol can very well fall to her demise again, trust.Didn't happen anyway. As it was revealed in #10, an evil Carol can kill Rogue several times.

I did read issue about "Warbird" coming back to "kill" Rogue but thatGood grief, if you haven't read the issue don't bother complaining now.

doesn't mean Rogue can't whoop Carol's butt again.
So drop the posh tude and get what I'm saying. Thanks.
Destiny also predicted plenty of other things that weren't accurate. And what I'm saying is that Rogue doesn't need the Ms. Marvel powers to be great anymore. She wasn't even as good with those powers as Carol is. Since Carol's also proven her killer instincts, she's a bigger threat to Rogue than vice versa. But Destiny already said that in the beginning.

I just don't think Carol has a promised win against Rogue, sorry.
Now that Ms. Marvel will be leading the Mighty Avengers there might be a collision against Rogue's team. Especially after Carol busted her up last month in Ms. Marvel #10.
Besides the Sunfire powers suit Rogue's codename better than the Ms. Marvel's powers. It expresses her attitude better and she comes out less like a tomboy.
It wasn't a mini, It was a canceled series. I used to collect it along with Gambit and Nightcrawler.I dont agree, I think her being a rogue, Ms. Marvels powers represent that much more. Strength and invulnerability, these are things a loner would need, not fire. Besides there are way to many flame based characters in the Marvel Universe.
Human Torch
Sunfire
Pyro
Phoenix
Sunpyre
Rogue
Matchstick
the list can go on and on and on and on.
By the way Rogue got those power during her mini.
These won't be her only powers, just wait and seewell you know what I mean.
But dont you agree there are far to many pyrokinetics in the Marvel Universe. So for a character like Rogue who could ditch those ones and gain new ones, why not fire powers are way to overused.

Yes, and I grew Up with Ms. Marvel Rogue. That should tell you how I feel about current powers.well you know what I mean.

I want Rogue without the fire powers too bt you are using the wrong argument bc there are WAY more characters who can fly and/or have super strength. There's at least one on every teamI dont agree, I think her being a rogue, Ms. Marvels powers represent that much more. Strength and invulnerability, these are things a loner would need, not fire. You know what I jus thought about? The evidence doesn't favor Rogue so well.
- Contest of Champions 2
- Uncanny X-Men #171
- Uncanny X-Men #269
- Ms. Marvel #9 & 10
Let's not forget that Ms. Marvel faired better against Sabretooth than Rogue in personal encounters. Ms. Marvel fought better against the Reavers. When facing indomitable robots Ms. Marvel has managed to beat the Doomsday Man twice. Kitty had to lead Rogue into defeating Nimrod.
t:
t:Nah man, she needs a base.I want rid of the fire powers and just have Rogue with ehr own leeching powers. She kicks booty at the moment and I love what a rebel she's become. I also wnat Gambit shot in the knee caps so he can never come back to her.
Rogue needs an additional power other than just her power absorption. The superstrength and invulnerability fit her perfectly, I hope she gets them back.

A lot of people on the boards feel the same way, but I still advocate them together. Right now it's not possible, but they love each other more than anyone else and I can't imagine Gambit and Rogue romantically involved with other people.
It looks like Rogue won't have any stability right now seeing as she is on a 'rogue' squad, on the road without the protection of the mansion.
So Rogue is entitled to smack Gambit upside the head, but when it comes to her man, he'll always be the one, Horseman or not.
They've both experienced uncontrollable powers in the past and gotten through it just fine, still in love with each other. The relationship is dysfunctional and Rogue and Gambit have some personal issues to solve, but the course of true love never did run smoothly. (And I wouldn't want it any other way.)
