This is the Rogue thread, keep the topic on her. And now I just thought about Gambit. Oops. Rogue doesn't have to apologize for anything. Right now, she's suffering enough having the touch of insta-death and 8 billion tortured souls running around her head. Certainly the villians on the team were going to go bad eventually, Rogue knew that. But if there is anyone who could handle that possibility it's her. If only she hadn't run into that Pandemic guy.

About Wolverine, I don't a Rogue kissing Wolverine scene ever again. Heaven help us.

I know..I was being sarcastic besides...with his uber healing factor, he would fight off Rogue's touch long enough to enjoy the experience.

and Rogue should consult Dr. Strange for one huge exorcism of the beings inside her

Well, one could argue it is somewhat of a cheap device to just stick 8 billions souls inside someone's head just so they can get off easy regarding everything else.

Not that I'm calling that Carey will do so 100%, but, hum, Creed being dealt with in another book and hints at the sympathy *kinda* seem to point that way.

Hey Darth, Rogue was only leader for a week or two. Carey said that he wanted to push Rogue to her limits. And nobody said anything about what happened as some way for her to get off easy. Rogue's not that excuse laden. I relate to her really well as do the Rogue fans here. Of course I love Gambit too. Love those issue-laden Southern hotties. Emma had quite the funny line in #200 about changing Rogue's accent and taste in men while she was entering her mind.

Yeah, Rogue's Hand, it just keeps getting worse for Rogue. Schmidt said it was going to be a hard year for Rogue fans.

Look at Whedon's Torn. The arc's about Kitty kicking a$$/getting owned and what makes Cyke/Emma tick. Whedon did it via mind f**ks and brutal ego-maulings.

Carey did it, with, hum, Strain 88 and Hecatomb. It's not as if he CREATED them just for that or anything.
