aww man, we disagree yet again. I thought M was by far the best of the Generation X bunch. I loved her relationship with Emma and its a shame that has never been touched up on since Gen X ended. I would love to see how they'd interact now

Did you hear that rumor that Austen was going to kill Monet off? The plan was to give Rogue back her strength and flight and that was going to be done by perma-absorbing M. Thank god that didnt happen

As for Mystique, yeah I hope she's evil again bc she doesnt work as a hero for me. I hope that shooting Rogue isnt quite like it seems bc I do like their relationship and dont like how messed up its gotten in recent years

Yeah, she should be evil, and to try and make her otherwise with what happened in 200 would be awful. Any stretch to make it seem like she was wit the X Men all along would be flat out terrible.

So, after all the hype this new Event got, I decided to read the X-Men 200. And I must say I now understand why so many people hate Rogue

I know she has the damn 8 billion minds on her head, but...

"Cable can do this"
"We left cable in Providence"
"Ah, ok. You do. Good thinking."

What the hell was that? No 8 billion minds can explain how bad and despotic of a leader she is.
The issue gets really good after this awful start, but...God.

On a side note. God how I hate that art. Everybody looks effing ugly. It's like the pictures went from sketch to coloring, without any tweaks or layout in between.

Thank you. Ive never liked Ramos' art begining on his Wolverine arc. They are just an extreme type of Cartoony.....just not cool.

I'd much rather have the Kubert brothers or Salvador Larroca drawing. That was the best.

I still love Rogue. Between the psyches and Strain 88, she went insane. I don't understand that part; her lines made no sense. I hope she isn't dead; I don't think she is.

I'm with you Havok, I'd never think of Mystique as a hero. For a moment there, I was beginning to like her, but that certainly ended quickly. What is going on here? Issue 200 raised many more questions than it answered.

But actually, I won't front. As much as I love the character, I've always thought her powers were going overboard. And now it seems like they's introducing add-ons every month...she's like a living Windows system. At first, I thought they should've revealed her powers as being tactile tk...which would explain the psy powers and the super strength and flight...even the high level intellect. Her advanced brain could be her power. But now, it just seems like they've passed the point of no return and it's too late to give some sense of...structure, I guess would be the word, to her abilities. M is one of my favorites, but yeah, she's got way too much going on.

My problem with Larroca's Rogue was during XTreme when she had short hair. I don't like her with short hair. Or in red, or blue. I want her in green. End of discussion. But Kubert's were awesome, although he has a lot of the 'classic style' but still awesome.
