Comics The Official ROGUE Discussion Thread

Thread's not derailed...well,completely!:pAren't all things X-Men interrelated?;)

I like Sinister,always did;but he can't kill Rogue-as far as I know, she's still alive at the end of MC,that's a good thing, right?:P

Emphasis on "as far as [you] know".

Hey.

This isn't derailed.

If you want derailed...*points to user's title*

I can do derailed.

depends, i say it is. Carey says she has a big influence in MC, though he has been saying that alot with every character. so it probably means nothing.
i just want to see her kick butt. simple.

Rogue will be playing a large role in Xavier's maxi series after MC ends so he'll be fine.

What's a "maxi series"?

AND WTF? Are you bribing someone at Marvel? YOU KNOW ALL THESE THIGNS SUDDENLY!!! YOU'RE GETTING SCRIPT PAGES WITH BLANKED OUT INFO AND ALL THAT STUFF!!!

A 12 issue limited series. A mini is only 4-6 issues long.

I have my finger on the pulse of the Internet. Nothing happens that I don't know about.

Carey said not that long ago in one of the X-Position things that that thing isn't even a full go yet, so that isn't a definite thing to go by.

Thats the only X-men work he'll be doing so if the maxi doesn't go through, he won't be an X-writer anymore.

So I guess this dispels any illusions about Gambit actually being a bad guy instead of a double-agent or something.

It's from the one-shot BTW. It's a pin-up, not an actual panel.

Not neccessarily. They can easily find something else for him or keep him around on X-Men.

No, it's a cover, not from the one shot.

The image properties says differently.

Then IGN mislabeled something wrong again. Go look at the article they were taken from, it's a cover to one of the upcoming issues, NOT the one shot. In fact, every cover from that article says the "one shot" thing in the address property, so it's nothing to go by.

Don't you think I would have pointed that out already if I knew?

It's probably near the end, after Gambit's predictable return to the good guys. Maybe a New X-men one since she seems to be primarily in that book(and on other of their covers).

What cracks me up, though, is why Deathstrike of all f****n people would even have a chance pwning that team. :D

Just assume it has something to do with Sinister, eh? Maybe thats the team that tries to take him out or something.

Of course it'll have something to do with SIns.

Still, having Deathstrike standing over their fallen forms comes off as bit silly even if it's just for the hell of symbolism.
