She's the only person in this universe who's capable of doing that...until Stephen Strange.

Guess that pretty much confirms that the MCU Scarlet Witch's powerset is supernatural in origin. Which is a great way to portray her powers, imho.

If there is a compelling need for SW to become romantically involved with anybody, I would hope they wait a while before doing so. They are introducing an iconic character and I would hate to have her first appearance marked by a romance with a fellow Avenger.

With the chronic superheroine shortage in the Avengers, pairing Wanda with Natasha leaves Pietro to be the filling in a Steve/Tony sandwich. Sounds good to me.

Sounds like they are going for some variation on the "dimensional boundaries" powerset from Ultimates. Which is not a bad idea, really; it provides a decent framework for the phlebotinum.

Clint slept with a doombot he thought was Wanda in the comics. Wanda could hook up with Clint I suppose although Renner is 18 years older than her and looks it so it might come across a little creepy.

But in the overprotective nature of the character he definitely wouldn't let anyone go near her romantically, and vice versa, and if they did then he'd have a thing or two to say about it.

Can we at least not do it in her first appearance. If she's starts appearing in future films, then fine maybe it could work. But there's already so much stuff going on in this movie that also trying to build a romance may simply be too much. There is even more stuff here than in the first film.
