I don't watch Game of Thrones, but one time, I got a glimpse of it when I went to a friend's house and she was on the screen, her acting in that show wasn't good too. She was quite stoic and lacked expressions.

in case you ever plan on watching it I won't say anything spoilery
but with on her plot in the show stoic and expressionless are what keeps her from being killed

Yeah and I think young Jean in the comics was usually pretty shy, just with a bit of an attitude. I hope we see some of that. Can I just say that I'm so excited to see Jean in a movie and not have her character have anything to do with Wolverine?? SO excited lol

I'm curious to see how she'll use her powers in battle. Beside X3 we've really only seen Jean use them for defense, not actually attacking. Also I wonder if they'll add any energy signature or keep how they did it in the OT

Sansa has nothing to be happy about and to show any sort of emotion would always play into her captor's hands - that was with Joffery and Ramsay.

But saying that, she's always been bit of bland actress.

From the trailer, I didn't like her acting. I kinda miss Famke Jannsen as Jean!!!

Same here, remind me of Sansa Stark, i know its not her fault but she did.

So I think I figured out why her first line seems so off... Sounds like they went back and did ADR for this trailer. compared to the comic con trailer her accent is a bit more flat and not so noticeable but it also is more flat in her delivery. Plus the line starts earlier compared to the comic con one which also seems to throw things off a bit for me. In the comic con one she has more noticeable breathing before and during the line. Sounded more natural before where as the noticeable dubbing doesn't as much.
Either way I'm excited to see her play Jean and can't wait for the movie..

Hopefully this means the writers are making the connection between Xavier controlling Raven and Xavier controlling Jean in X3 explicit. It would be interesting to see how he handles the same situation, only this time with someone who could potentially destroy the world.

If it was intended to be a parallel to the OT like how DOFP referenced the OT, it could be Jean trying to Charles after he's been kidnapped / Apocalypse's lair.

I wouldn't be surprised if she goes into cerebro to try to get a location on
Apocalypse.That would allow Singer to call back to X-Men only this time jean is in uniform.

It also sounds like they are calling back to jean's arc In last stand In trying to connect the trilogy to apocalypse not just fc and DOFP.

From the silhouette and the part where she's screaming in the beginning, she's sporting the same hairstyle, hair tied back (which unfortunately isn't so flattering), as the black-armored scenes on the X-Jet and Cairo. So I would say she's wearing the costume both times.

I have to say this dark figure/sihlouette seems a LOT like Famke, but I don't think they could destroy the surprise by putting her in the trailer like 'The Wolverine' trailer did. I'm 80% sure that Jean's gonna have glimpses into the future and maybe the far future and like that we could see original cast cameos. One never knows.....

It sounds like from singers last Twitter video that there will be some hints to the pheonix in this movie with allusions of whats to come

There was no way they weren't going to re-do the Phoenix in some capacity with Jean's reintroduction into the films. That and Singer's been giving everyone the wink and nudges with regards to Jean's latent abilities. So yeah, it'll probably a small plot point. Hopefully the climax will be won as a team instead of Jean just unleashing the Phoenix and melting Apocalypse or something.
