its like you can see her costume through her hair on the left which is fine but underneath the transparent patch its like her hair continues from nothing, and its all straight and thick which makes the faded spot look abit odd

It could be lighting or the picture but i dunno how that would work

I do see the area you speak off but upon closer look it doesn't look like transparent hair showing her costume. In my eyes it just looks like a light that was shining, like when you stare at a light to long and it's like you see blue or black dots. That's what it looks like to me instead of it being transparent. I honestly don't know lol I'm just trying to justify that it's real.

There's been good arguments made that it's fake. My main reservation in that respect is that, as somebody who has been a Sophie fan for years, I don't recognize that photo source (nor has anyone else been able to find one). With fan made stuff like that, it's usually not too hard to identify the original image.

Yes that's the part that makes me optimistic about the pic because it doesn't seem to be from another image. The way her hair is done up it just looks real well I want it to be only thing missing is the headband

Logan picture in costume from DOFP wasn't official too.
In magazines we saw him only in armor.

Maybe it is photoshop, but the costume is real? IDK. As CaptainCanada said, that picture of Sophie Turner is non-existent. The only movie I think it could come from is Barely Lethal but I won't put myself through that just to find out the authenticity of that picture. A lot of instagram fan accounts are posting it as official though, lol.

The costume department do that a lot. DOFP had a lot of those.

Sophie's in LA now for the SAG Awards. I imagine any interviews she does will be about GOT, but who knows, maybe she'll say something X-Men-related in tonight or tomorrow.

Yeah i took a closer look and the transparency looks less weird in this quality image so i dunno what to think now

It's a somewhat similar colour scheme to the FC uniforms, though the uniform itself is a bit different. I was wondering if the uniforms would all have different colour schemes (green, in Jean's case, would be the obvious choice), but maybe they thought that would look a bit too Power Rangers.

Admittedly, it does make sense that the team uniforms would actually be, y'know, uniform.

No matter how fantastic the manipper there tends to be a flat or painted look about the work that lacks depth or facets to the fabrics/hair/lighting. Say for example JMC who does great photorealistc work he still never gets fully all the things mentioned above right completely.

See though it looks awesome there is a painted quality about it? This is not the case with this photo. The added most likely accidental blue lense flare only add to its legitimacy.

I believe singer and kinberg have made a point of saying she is scared of them

They say in the set visit she is very uncomfortable with her powers. And just from the trailer that seemed evident. I don't mind that approach because it gives them something to build on for future movies.

Well I think this is perfect because actually that was suggested in X1, and its how I envisioned the character... But will this professor X allow her more
Freedom over her powers or will He interfer as inferred from x3.... Cos if we use the river analogy of the time line, she is on the same course....

When Digital Spy visited the set last June, we happened to see James McAvoy and Sophie Turner filming an emotionally intense scene in which McAvoy was called upon to cry. A lot.
