I don't know how good I am at casting, but take a look. You may find some of these a little odd or maybe it's a little too stacked with stars, but it IS a Superman movie we're talking about.

I know it's not finished yet, this is just what I have so far.

that...is not too shabby. especially Winstead. good choice. not sure about hugh laurie though. his american accent isnt quite luthor.

I'd have to see screen tests to be honest with you. Same thing with Trucco, I'd have to see him in character before casting him. I'm also debating whether or not to cast an older actor as Zod, since he's older than Superman. My friend actually suggested Geoffrey Rush as Zod, but I'd rather go with someone a little more imposing.

Cavill looks like a guy in his mid-twenties, and more importantly, he looks like Superman.

I used to worry that, long before the part was even cast. But now that I've seen Langella, I say, who the heck cares about how old Perry White looks, anyway. It's not integral to the story. This guy would be perfect. Not that it was entirely Langella's fault, but Mr. Bookman would rock. t:
