This poster came around yet again, because the recent news on Man of Steel on its IMDB page lists several sites have published an 'early promo poster' which kind of looks fake. It seems to be this one right here.

That's awesome. It actually makes me want those red sides.

My favorite part about it is the colors. They just seem so... perfect. That fullness.

Everyone is entitled to their own opinion. It's only a problem when people start declaring their opinion the one and only valid interpretation of the character, and that everyone else is wrong.

Yep I know what you mean - It doesn't make me like the look of the character any more or less whether or not he;s got the trunks. But so far of designs I've seen I still prefer the trunks. - Although I do think the DC relaunch supes look is pretty good.

I don't really mind for a movie. I guess it depends on how the suit looks with it. When we get a good high definition clear picture of the suit I am sure there will be a lot of manips made where trunks will be added. There was one already where he had the trunks and I did like that manip a lot and there were some where the hair looked really good but they messed too much with the colors in my opinion on the manips.

I'm fascinated that people are happy with "no trunks", but they are all embracing the "waist bracelet" look?

all this because people are uncomfortable with trunks over the suit? Seriously?

Oh that's cool. That's the very definition of a "teaser poster," just like the posters back in the day that actually WERE teasers in that they'd make you make your own assumptions as to what the movie was. Nowadays a "teaser poster" is several cast members prominently displayed with the title in big bold letters across the center of it. Good work.

That is the closest we have seen in a manip to what the suit would look like if he were standing up (based on what we have seen so far). That looks good.
