Had myself some fun with the "fabrica de herois" flash app (check it out here....http://fabricadeherois.blogspot.com/...it's pretty cool, even if it is in Portugese) and I made a mock-up of what I think the costume will look like if there are trunks, which I still think is a 50/50 possibility either way.

That Tom Welling tag is cheap. I doubt that wearing the suit/not wearing it was totally up to him. I also suspect the fact that there is a new Superman in Cavill prevented him from being able to become Superman.

That Tom Welling tag is cheap. I doubt that wearing the suit/not wearing it was totally up to him. I also suspect the fact that there is a new Superman in Cavill prevented him from being able to become Superman.

Wow, way to stay on topic there, chief. But since you called me out on it....I'm of the opinion that it WAS up to him, it certainly wasn't because WB didn't want to show the character/costume of Superman, since there WAS multiple shots of the suit itself in the FOS and a CGIed Superman in that very episode. It had nothing to do with a movie that's still nearly 2 years away. The only logical explanation is that Welling didn't want to wear it, even though it's the least he could've done after 10 years of his complete lack of acting talent.

Oh well, at least you're whining about something other than your "Cavill's hair" thread being deleted or someone having the nerve to mention James Earl Jones once being on Lois & Clark when you mentioned it first or whatever. Now why don't you run along and go pray that maybe someday you'll see Welling again if someone decides to make "Cheaper By The Dozen III: The Cheapening".

The simple truth is that Welling always dreaded the idea of putting on the suit and, in the end, he got his way. The most that they were able to do was get him to wear that t-shirt with the "S-shield" on it, for the shirt-rip at the end.

Amazing! This is great work and is the closest I've seen yet to what it may look like. Only changes I'd make is making the red a bit lighter, it's a little too dark here, in comparison to the photo. And I have a feeling the belt is red, with only the buckle being gold.
