Anyone see a decent shot of the actual "boots? The foot area? In the official shot it looks like very thin, stocking like boots. You can see his ankle bones etc.

See, this is how Superman should have looked like. The bottom right looks modern but keeps all the elements of the original Superman costume. Well done, DK7!

I like the bottem right too but with the shield size at the left. but Im cool with the new suit too for some reason I want to see an epic Superman movie that Ive waited to see since i can remember

I really like what you guys are doing here, preserving the original Superman costume, or at least leaving a good part remnant of it. It is just sad that all your hard work will come to naught, as Warner will never listen to your suggestions, and keep their "alien" version of Superman

When I look at all these manips, then look back at the actual suit, it just makes me like the actual suit even more.

Agreed. I'm all for the new suit. I did all those manips above, but I still like what we're getting the best.

The only one I would prefer to what we're getting is the one here I did on the left. But it's only because I'm a sucker for the Fleischer \S/ lol (but over all I didn't change much, the design is the same...I just changed the ribbing to material, and the colours a bit. But no belt or trunks added - therefore it's technically still the design we're getting with the slightest alteration)

Haha, I love that my Smallville suit design is still making the rounds on the interwebs. I did that back when there were rumors he would be wearing a prototype suit in season 9. Of course, it turned out to be the black trench coat look, but websites still took it and ran away with it I guess. Fun times... Anyway, looking solid everyone. I really like that Thor style poster. I am itching to try my hand at drawing the new suit myself, just been super busy at work.

I agree. I actually think that black and gold suits the color scheme more.

Oh, well. Hopefully it'll look fine onscreen.

Shout out to fans of the Jim Lee For Tomorrow Zod design, but seeing it here shows that it probably wouldn't work on film without looking cheesy.

I just saw this on another website and had not seen it here before, although I suspect it also made its debut on these boards ... However, I prefer the new and original MoS movie costume and am beginning to believe we are better off without the beloved red briefs:

Haha, someone should do a lime-green Borat version.
Seriously though, problem with this design is that it looks like a big red arrow pointing to his genitals.
I'm actually quite happy with the movie suit, eventhough I have always been a big trunks supporter.
