I love your teaser posters, but I'm not really fond of the manip of Henry's suit. The muscles look unrealistic and off.

Wow! How do you do those? Your Reeve, Cain and Reeves ones are spot on! The Cavill one is still a little generic(facially) but that's just because the pic you were working with wasn't a good head shot. Keep up the great work, Dave!

Great manip! My only criticism is this: HC's head and neck looks too big for the physique you've chosen to use.

Yeah I did attempt a couple Routh sculpts back in the day, but they're a bit simple and don't look much like him (hopefully I can try again someday).

Dave, those are incredible! I might have missed it but did you say what material you are using for these sculpts? How about the bases, what do you make them from?

Just super sculpey you can find at any crafts store. I get the wood bases there too.

Much better with the current Cavill head... but the arms are different lengths.

Yeah I was trying to capture that look he gives Lois before leaving the plane (and of course it was fun to sculpt a Superman with messed up hair for once). I'd definitely like to give that one another try someday.

And sorry, I thought you were talking about the flat wooden bases I use. For the armature, I just use thick wire covered by aluminum foil.

Here's my first manip kinda simple and didn't have a lot of time to do it in. I know the shield is too big and I'm going to reduce the size. Anyway its Alex Ross' Superman with the new shield.

No. They're still the same. That's just a manip.

Tried this quick manip. some of you guys do much better than me.

Just wanted to get an idea of how he may look.

left off the leg ribbing and texture over most the suit because I'm lazy

colors off too!
