Ha all good. According to Barnes & Noble, it's out in July.

Max Landis, screenwriter of Chronicle, is rewriting Superman's first encounter with the Joker:

It seems the comic will be released digitally only. Shame, I'd buy it just for Jock's cover and art.

They reprint those digital shorts in singles eventually, don't that?

So the man we see carrying the crystal this whole time was Ascension's former neurologist...who didn't get his eyes burned by Wraith, but by Ascension themselves. #Unchained

Yes. I believe they put a few 0.99 digital issues together and sell it for $3.99.

question:
in the new 52, were clark and lex ever friends?

Not that I know of. Though he helped Clark make a case against corruption in Metropolis as a mysterious contact, they didn't know each other before Superman showed up.

Thank you,... Too bad.

I realize that the overwhelming reason for 52 was all about money and copywrite,.. but I'm not feeling it as a whole.
Something must be wrong with me.

No your ok man, the Superman books have been the crappiest part of New 52 with the exception being Unchained and IMO Paks run thus far.

And Morrison's run, the H'el on Earth segment of Lobdell's run (Just that segment), Batman/Superman, and Superman/Wonder Woman.

Which all in all probably adds up to the best the Superman books have been in a long while.

Yeah, there's been a lot of good Superman stuff since the New 52 began, imo.

The shift away from mid life crisis Superman is the best thing to come out of the New 52. Everything else feels like it could've been done before the reboot.

Isn't that the point? Everything's sort of the same, but a little bit different?

Bleeding Cool is reporting that Geoff Johns will be taking over Superman.

Interesting. I've always sort of had mixed feelings towards Johns (even before he became such a polarized figure and was the golden boy of the industry), but I'm pretty curious to see how a Romita Jr Superman book would look.

I would definitely buy that title again. And with Action really good right now, this is an exciting time to be reading the Superman books.

And Morrison's run, the H'el on Earth segment of Lobdell's run (Just that segment), Batman/Superman, and Superman/Wonder Woman.

I wasn't including the latter two books of your list because I do not consider those core Superman Books.

I kinda hated Morrisons run as it was so all over the place and H'el was just bad in all regards and I tried to like it but just couldn't.

Batman/Superman's first arc was epic and awesome but the second arc has been garbage.

I do love Superman/Wonder Woman though one of the best books out there.

SO yeah for me the best of Superman is basically Pak written,Snyder written and Soule.

Well, I don't love Johns' past Superman stories the way many do, but I'd definitely consider him a step up from Lobdell, so I might check out his run.
