Currently reading All-Star Superman for the first time. Supposedly it's you know, god sent. Barely started but it's definitely different from the Supes books I've read so far.

It's arguably the greatest single Superman text ever. I think it's fairly brilliant and all encompassing, being both exciting and beautiful at the same time. I read it monthly as it was released, so I genuinely envy you going through it all at once for the first time.

Right haha. It's like 10/10. I get it. I guess I'm fortunate to read it in full. I'll post my mini review here when I'm done :]

I'm fairly conflicted on Superman/Wonder Woman 2. It really hyped up Superman (which is great!) but it was at the expense of Wonder Woman and her cast.

What happened? I missed the first issue, was thinking about picking up the series in trade

Ooooh, thanks for the reminder! I had dropped the title when Lobdell took over because I can't stand him, but if Pak's run has started now then I'm jumping back in.

Also, All-Star Superman is my favorite superhero comic of all-time, but it's definitely not for everyone.

I recently found out that his daughter was friend of my family and he was able to sign a Superman collection for me. I wish I had known all of that sooner.

Haven't been following the books for awhile ( except Unchained ), but did they ever explain the nature of H'El's telekinetic powers? or Superboy's tk powers, for that matter?

why do they have tk based powers, while Superman or Kara don't?

Yeah, I'm getting to the point where I'd rather just wait until it Snyder finishes the story so I can read it all at once...but my willpower - or lack thereof - won't let me, lol.

Interesting. I'm only three issues in and I could also say that. I think I'm gonna read this series by issue though. I've never done that with a comic so this'll be my first.
