Sequels The Official The Lizard in Spider-Man 4 thread!

Yes, I do happen to think that this Lizard:

...is better than this Lizard:

But hey, good thing we live in a country where it's OK to have a different opinion, right? :whatever:

Bagley's Lizard is simply awesome(it actually looks like a lizard!).Can't say the same about McFarlane's version.:spidey:

Bagley's Lizard looked great in every panel, but as The Lizard said, Macfarlane's Lizard looked great sometimes and other times it looked dissapointing. Personally, I hate it when that happens.

McFarlane's was menacing. You felt like he would just tear you apart. Bagley's is just a Lizard with a labcoat.

I'm actually gonna have to agree with you, McFarnlane's version is my favorite, though I will admit as time went on it became very inconsistant and looked like an alien.

But when it looked like this, it was great

I do want the savage LIZARD in SM4, a killing machine in the flesh, and I want him to cause as much torment as possible. Torment for Connors' family, Spider-Man, the police, the lives of innocent New Yorkers who's love ones were mutilated. I wouldn't mind Curt Connors himself never needing to eat any food, because his stomach is always filled with human remains, thanks to The Lizard. It would be intriguing if Curt Connors had PTSD (Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder) from the war, and he constanly sees visions of his arm being blown off, and many other soldiers with missing limbs from the battle-field. Which of course, would be the driving force behind him wanting to repair flesh and bones for amputees.

I don't want the lizard ot be some mindless killing machine. Maybe at someI'd like him to be smart and actually know right from wrong, but still maybe do wrong things, but as time goes on, he could get more and more mean and start to lose sense of anything or something.

What you're talking about is Connors transformation in his early stages, sure, if they go the slow transformation (THE FLY) route. I wouldn't mind we seeing him showing signs of human intelligence. But when he becomes full bleed LIZARD, I only want to see animalistic behavior and intelligence from him.

I sure as hell don't want to see THE LIZARD in his full tranformed state, walking, talking, planning, plotting and having conversations with any human, especially his family and Spider-Man. Because then we've stepped into a Pixar film. :o

Maybe, just maybe down in the sewers in the dark, we can hear him slither in a whisper the name..."SSssspider-Man," when he gets a sent of his prey from a far.

I don't mind Lizard going crazy and hurting people or something, as I said, him having no mind at all as the Lizard might not work. In the comics, he knew the right time to attack and I think that can tie into movie Lizard even if Lizard is more animalistic than he was in the comics.

Going crazy and hurting people isn't good enough for me, I need for him to kill people at random. The Lizard needs to be threatening and frightening as hell, who could cause you your life, if you're in the wrong place at the wrong time, or you're trying to hunt him down. Sure, he'll have his survival animal instict not to attack 50 cops shooting in his direction. But whenever the chance to kill (like a Komodo Dragon) is in his favor, which will be most of the time, he should take it.

Well, I'm sure he'll kill people, but if they make it so that Dr. Connors is like a trapped soul inside this beast, I wonder how that would work out. I'm also curious if he will talk or not.

Speaking of KOMODO DRAGONS, these are the giant lizards that the special effect team should use as models for The Lizard. From their skin/scale graphs, coloration and movements. Not to mention, THE LIZARD should also have (like Komodo Dragons) poisonous saliva.

I think if they are gonna do lizard the way they've done other villains. i dont think he'll(or im hoping he wont) Look completely like a reptile standing upright if you get what i m saying. but more like a very mutated man that looks as if he iz turning into a monster. like a cross between, killer croc, the comic book lizard and reptile form mortal kombat.

I like anything that's deadly when it comes to villains. Maybe that's my personal taste. Not to mention, I like the idea of using some characteristics and defense mechanisms from actual LIZARDS. It's not necessary, but I prefer it. Not to mention, those Komodo Dragons scare the sh:t out of me, because of their relentless pursuit to kill their prey no matter the size or speed of it. That's what I want in THE LIZARD on screen.

Nah, he needs his LIZARD features.

However, if they're going for the slow transformation type deal, then you should see a 'mutated monster man" at his middle stages of transforming.
