Didn't JMS mention an issue with medieval European themes in Thor's dialogue? So why harken back to it visually with this new look for Asgard? I know there are only so many ways to go about it, but it just seems like an odd decision.

He wants it to be like Lord of the Rings. Silly me, I thought he meant in terms of tone and scope and Thor's speech patterns. I didn't think he actually meant he wanted it to look identical to the Lord of the Rings movies, too.
