^ That's true, but interest in anything Potter, particularly the final book, may uphold interest in the movie.

Definitely. We're all planning to see it again as soon as we finish Book 7 next weekend. I think all the Potter fans are going to need some consolation that the books are done, so why not see the movie again?

I think Harry Potter deserves his own forums on here. So he doesn't have a comic...he has books and other media.

I'd like one as well but it ain't gonna happen. They give Harry one then people are going to want one for Star Wars, LOTR, etc. It'd probably get out of hand. I usually post on Mugglenet's forum but they're closed for a while. :csad:

As for the movie, I wish Kreacher's ears stuck up like in the book instead of drooping down.

There is a reason why this franchise is huge. Lets see G.I. Joe or He-Man take on that task shall we???
G.I.Joe and HeMan were the biggest toys of the 80's, I don't see any Harry Potter toys flying off the shelves, do you?

So what's the low down on this movie? Good, bad, decent?

Great. This is a true Harry Potter film. not Harry and Friends adventures. It's all about the Potter and by some miracle works.

I missed 2 minutes of it due to a bathroom visit though. So I was a little lost towards the finish, but what I saw was very engrossing. Radcliffe does more this time than stand around looking shocked and puzzled!

No but I see books flying off of shelves. GI Joe and He-Man live in the 80's...Harry Potter will be around for much longer. God I am glad my parents never got me a man doll with cammo clothes for Christmas. I would say Ninja Turtles and Batman were bigger than GI Joe and He-man in the 80s anyways. I don't see or hear about rabid fans waiting outside of Barnes and Nobles to get the latest edition of He-Man or GI Joe.

That is either the longest pee or the shortes poo:cwink: When I have to go during a movie...I dart down, get it all out quick, and run back and maybe miss 45 secs or 1 minute tops.

Well the bathroom's far.

lol i'm watching chambers now... it's much ass compared to this new one though the performances are good stuff. It's fascinating how the films grow with the actors though.

Yeah, they should have kept the forum open but disabled the posting. O well, it was a smart idea I guess. Ginny isn't THAT ugly. She's pretty, though not a pretty as they say in the book. As far as I know they aren't doing a new casting role for her.

I swear some on here have no younger sisters or cousins. Most hot girls look like crap when they're young. tis very rare they look great on their way to womanhood. In fact sometimes the real cuties turn out looking rather ordinary. I'm confident what's her name, bonnie, will blossom into full on ginny-licious-ness for the next film. Oh yes.

All it takes is a summer. THEN BAM!!! it's like popcorn.

The Turtles were the biggest ****ing thing going in the late 80s and early 90s, they were everywhere from cartoons to films to video games to merchandise to live stage performances and public appearances.
Anything with their name on it sold like hot-cakes.

That's just it! Half Blood Prince is going to start filming within the next 2 months. How much do you think she could change by September? Not much...

Family reunions require a lot of restraint, let me tell ya...

No of course not. eewwww. You're crazy. They're not all that great looking anyway...

Answer this, are the creators of The Turtles household names? Are they billionaires?

I did see a really hot girl at my family reunion though. 4th or 5th cousin whatever...not a close relative by any means.

I don't see the point to the question. I wasn't comparing the Turtles to Potter, I was comparing them to He-Man/Batman of the late 80s and early 90s (and J.K. Rowling isn't a household name, I can easily find tons of people that haven't read the books that don't have a clue who she is, and I have no clue how much money the creators of TMNT have).
