You kno percy just popping out of know where was kind of like...ok who are you?? They could have just left him out since they didnt get into that subplot. I think the film could have used a better subplot from the book. I think thats whats missing for me.

Im going to see it in Imax just because but I still left the theater a tad bit disappointed with it. except the last 20 minutes.

I thought this movie ruled, I am slow on reading the books cause I started when I started college, and time doesn't come that freely (especially when I waist time on here) I'm only on the third one

but I have herd that they miss a tone of stuff, in saying that I think the quality of Harry Potter the movie has been excellent up to this point, and owned again, best wizard fight to date

Saw order of the phoenix again today, definately my favourite potter movie.

Definitely my favorite movie, as well as my favorite book. I thought David Yates did a great job. I love the transitions with the newspaper clippings. The acting was great, visual effects were great. But I felt a bit was left out and some of it was a little too fast paced. But overall, I really liked it. I hope they release an extended edition.

I forgot I read that. I'm just curious about it because it doesn't seem as if the seeds were planted in Goblet of Fire for Hermoine's distaste for Fleur. Although, I'm sure they can bring her back without relying on that subplot.


And, Mr. Socko, I liked the newspapers as a narrative element as well. It gave a new spin on an old school technique.

The daily prophet narration was unique, fresh, and very well done.

I think this one brought back the magical feel of the first and second movie (especially in the ministry scenes) and mashed it with the darkness of 3 and 4.

Watching the Letterman clip after watching Dan's Conan clip really puts into perspective how much better Conan is. He seems like he is able to reach his guests more than Dave. It's also pretty obvious that Dave does not do his homework before having a guest.
