Videos from OOTP shoot at King's Cross

To add to our previous post about filming of Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix that took place last Sunday at King's Cross, four videos of a scene being filmed have appeared online. Three videos show all rehearsing a scene on the footbridge that connects Platform 8 to Platform 1. The last video shows Dan in between takes.

A day at the OOTP film set

Yesterday, I and a few others from the online media community visited the Order of the Phoenix set at Leavesden Studios in the UK. We were given a tour of the fantastic sets, interviewed several actors and actresses, and much more. While I can't share any of this information yet (and trust me, there's TONS), we'll be allowed to give you a special preview when the teaser trailer is released this November. Our full report will arrive later next year.

Without a doubt, this film is shaping up to be the most intense (and beautiful) film of the five. More on all that in November. Oh, and Evanna was wondering why news has been slow on MuggleNet lately, so I promised to have something up soon. We only report the news, not create it! Hopefully this is good enough.

Photos of OOTP Hogsmeade station set

MuggleNet reader Tiger today sent us several pictures of the Hogsmeade train station set in Black Country Park, Buckinghamshire, England. The photos also include an unknown building situated further into the woods. Scenes involving Hagrid's Hut were shot here for the first two movies as well as the scene in GOF where Hagrid shows Harry the dragons.

I think its so cool that Evanna was a big fan of Harry Potter before being cast and the fact that she visits Mugglenet:)

She's perfect for Luna.

Awesome pics Lex:up:

Not long to go now. Say, we got at least barely under two months until it comes out.

I agree. OotP has gotten me really hyped up for the past few weeks. Suffice to say, I strongly felt that GoF was missing something in the first half. Everything was unbelievably rushed.

But I really can't see what could possibly go wrong with OotP. We should be in for a great treat.
I agree for the most part here. But there are two thing that have made me depressed about the Production of OOTP: 1. No John Williams. Say what you want about his scores, but I love as much as all of his previous work and I would Kill to have him back to fish up the series. 2. The prospect of having no Quidditch matches. First one of the aspects that I love about both the films and the books are the Quidditch matches. I accept that they have to limit the number of matches from what we see in the book, but omitting them entirely to me is problematic to start. Omitting them from OOTP is even worse since it diminishes the character development of Ron and to a Lesser degree Ginny. (plus I loved the whole "Weasley is our King" Subplot)
But on the whole I do like that many of the Major plot points are included in the film as of now. One thing that Bugged me about GoF is that they heavily underemphasied the "Imperius Curse".

The Scotsman has posted the first official photo of a scene from "Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix". The still comes from one of the earliest scenes in the book when several Dementors attack Harry (Daniel Radcliffe) in a grim alleyway.

Two more stills were published with the article, one showing off a scene involving Imelda Staunton as the pink tweed wearing Dolorees Umbridge along with returning actors Maggie Smith and Emma Thompson. These have not yet appeared online as of the time of this article, though should be up soon.

The images are the first officially sanctioned stills from the film, which is set for release next July. A teaser trailer will hit theatres next month, along with my teaser report from the set in London which I visited last week (the reason for the delayed updates).

Thank you so much, it looks great. Great to see Trelawney again, but Umbridge looks a bit...odd...to me...

I've always pictured Umbrige to be fatter ... for some reason . Good to see some official photos though hope we see more soon  .

Yeah, she doesn't look fat enough. But I guess the more important thing - will she be nasty enough in the finished film?

I'm sureprised. Actually I am not HP fan and I wasn't so positive about previous movies (though I liked POA and GOF), but this pic with harry potter looks very unusual.

I like the idea of using dark underground style and very cold atmosphere.

Hope this movie will be just good movie and good enough adaptation of book as well.

BTW, most likely teaser-trailer will be released on October 20th with The Prestige.

My god...Umbridge is perfection.

Umbridge isn't how I pictured her at all.

Good to see some actual shots though.
