according to drew from hit fix x men first class actually used the f word:awesome:
Last thing for now: "X-Men: First Class" makes the best use the one-time-in-a-PG-13 "****" I've seen in a while.

well, PG-13 films are allowed one so long as it's not refering to a sexual act. IM2 had it twice but cleverly bleeped.

Oh boy, these extremely positive reviews are getting me way too excited.

There is also speculation that The Joker says it in TDK but they bleeped out.

I'm amazed these bloggers can say so much about the film from these screenings. The embargo is very strict.

The Joker simply smacked his lips.

Iron Man 2 has two bleeped out f-bombs in the conference scene in Washington. The senator says, "bleep you, Mr Stark, bleep you buddy".

My personal recent PG13 F-bomb is the one in the Social Network.

I have to say, I was originally intend on skipping FC and wait for the DVD, mainly because I don't have much faith in Fox and the heavy-handed way they handle their movies, like they did for X3 and Wolverine. But if the positive reviews keep coming for FC, I might reconsider my decision to wait & go see it at theatre instead.

Looks like your perception has sent you down the wrong path, my friend.

I'm not trying to be mean, but if you my friend ended up didn't see this film at theatre, consider yourself a big idot.

 .... I don't understand, considering how bad X3 and Wolverine were is it that shocking that some people are/were reluctant to give the franchise a third chance?

heh, he's got a point there.:awesome:

i was never worried solely due to vaughn and singer combo

vaughn left x3 because of being micro managed

he sure as hell would'nt go back if it was the same case

I just can't believe, how dumb some people are, when X-MEN: First Class has a totally different cast from X3/Wolverine, a great director/producer, and they still keep *****ing about it with non-sense logic. "omg...this movie is going to suck so bad, because DIFFERENT groups of people have done it wrong before!!"

use your brains for once people.

You should too.

I don't think it's dumb at all to have been weary of this movie. I was at first too. Why would anybody keep walking into a burning house and not expect to get burned? Once, twice, three times? That is called being insane. Doing the exact same thing and expecting different results each time.

There were about 4 or 5 things on my checklist that needed to happen for me to see this in theaters and those things happened a while ago. Good director and producer. Check. Unique story from good writers. Check. Good cast. Check. 2+ hour runtime. Check. No rumors of Fox mucking with the production. Check. So...I honestly feel that this will be a great movie and warrant me seeing this not only in theaters but at midnight as well...and I had to take off of work that Friday.

I took off 4 days using my vacation time to see Thor on it's opening weekend. That left me with 6 vacation days left and I knew already that I was going to take another 3 of them off when Cap comes out. Leaving me with 3 left to choose what do do for what was initially my 2 least anticipated superhero films of the summer, XM:FC & GL. Well after seeing the respective trailers I decided to spend my last 3 on XM:FC. GL will just have to get a matinee(hopefully still on opening weekend) but no midnights for me. I'll be there for XM:FC at the midnight showing like I was for Thor and if it's good like Thor was then several more viewings over the weekend. Ah, just 6 more workdays between me and seeing XM:FC.:awesome:

I have to take back what I've been saying about the movie now. The commercials have me sold. I'll be there opening night.

Maybe I won't take the whole day off on June 4th.

I'll just stay an hour later on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, and I'll get to walk in around 10am on Friday. :D

I'm really happy to hear that critics are liking Kevin Bacon's performance in the film. I was a little worried that he would be a weak point in the film since they haven't shown us much more than 30 seconds of footage of his character in the film, but now I'm really happy to hear that his performance is being praised. I honestly can't wait for this film. Definitely looks like it's going to be the best comic-book adaption this year (screw 'Green Lantern').

because it's a different house with different hosts?

common sense 101

Let's try to skip the name-calling, please.
