i think they were doing dark superman before BvS was screened to critics and opened worldwide. now this will be changed. i think there is 0% chance that he is a villain.

since i belive that he was a dark superman in JL i am so angry because of all the scenes with his father. ''My father believed that if the world found out who I really was, they'd reject me... out of fear''

I would agree with you, were it not for the fact that Snyder has already doubled down once on all the things that he was criticised for in MoS. I can quite easily see him wanting to make Superman the villain, at least for a percentage of Justice League. He wants that Injustice Superman, I just know it.

Oh, I'm pretty sure we're getting evil Superman in Justice League...

"Well I mean, let's just say this. I think it's okay to look at the extended dream sequence as an impressionistic view of a possible future right? So, and that's not hard to, that's in the sequence, so I'm not like spoiling anything or making up anything that you didn't see. So the connection with Flash, the Flash part of that sequence, you can speculate if, whether or not Flash is coming from that reality or another one, but that's the fun stuff to try and figure out exactly what Flash is saying to Bruce and what he means, because it's all, we know, so it's not, we're not making it up."

Snyder has a hard on for making Superman dark. What's darker than being the villain?
That entire quote is a non sequitur. But so is the sequence. So it makes sense that Snyder's explanation for it wouldn't.

he had to be kidding.............please :)

He was kidding...Maybe.

I think it was DA_Champion that pointed out that Snyder has a thing for depicting rape in his movies? I wonder what he/she thought of Snyder's Bat-Rapee comments.

I don't see anything in those quotes to show he was kidding. Let's not forget that this is guy who made Sucker punch. But if that was a joke and he thinks Batman getting raped in prison is funny, that's a whole other discussion.

Yeah I would actually want to wish all the ill will in the world on Snyder if he made a rape joke.

I'm not trying to pick on him, but I have no idea what he was trying to say.

Is this a real quote?

I shouldn't be finding it humorous because someone has difficulty conveying their thoughts, but... :hehe:

Oh my, yes. On Empire podcast.

I'd LOVE a universe reboot... :hmr:

Justice League: Crisis on Infinite Earths where this universe and the behind-the-camera talent crumble and disappear into the ether, while the actors on-board get to actually play better versions of these characters for the foreseeable future.

Otherwise, nah. :o

This guy is confusing as **** I read it three times and it still reads like incoherent jibber jabber to me. Saying unconnected words to sound all deep and stuff while in reality you're just making zero sense.

Hey wait, thats just like the movies he makes!

I'd pity him if he'd just come out and say he's a fraud. A fraud that tries his best, but ultimately knows and accepts he's a fraud.

After about five reads I figured it out, I think. He's basically saying "the knightmare sequence is a highly dramatized depiction of a possible future, and the Flash's dialogue includes foreshadowing about what the future will have. Audiences can have fun speculating what will happen, but since we know what will happen (as the storytellers), it isn't speculation for us."

...maybe?

I'll never understand why this movie has a dream within a dream. It feels like a parody of itself.

you know nothing... and you get so mad???

people are afraid of things they don't know... 100% true indeed...

no wonder superman has doubt on his dream...

i hope he will not change any of his plan... go full force pls!!!

I love my heros f'ed up. Dark. Gritty and very brutal. Dc can deliver.

See, why didn't you just admit from the start that you enjoy antiheroes instead of insisting that BVS was some misunderstood masterpiece that the masses just didn't "get?"
