Well, Alchemy means he can transmute matter, which he can't transmute everything (as far as we know)... I mean, all we know is that he has a gold touch...

I thought Charles Deveaux had the dream power Peter copied to learn he was going to blow up last season. It was also evident when Charles came to him in his dream and showed him one of his memories of when he and Peter had first met, and also in the dream that Deveaux and Peter flew together in right before he died.

 

I'm hoping we learn a little more about the other deceased 12 that haven't been mentioned yet.

A prequel would be really promising.

In theory, wouldn't the Original 12 be the Original 13? Afterall, we know Adam was one of them, yet he is absent from the picture (Unless he is Arthur Petrelli). So if Adam is not in the picture and one of them...who else could be missing? Maybe there could be more.

 

Maybe Adam is excluded because he is the First of the specials as far as we know. And The Company might be trying to keep the identity of their creator a secret. However, if Adam was so important to them, how come most of them turned against him and locked him up for 30 years? His allies like Linderman should've at least done something.

 

If he was Arthur Petrelli, Peter would have recognized him when they both escaped...

 

Unless the Haitian is up to something. Or maybe even Nightmare Man (who we know is capable of altering reality and is Adam's lackey. Could he change someone's perception on a permenant basis?

 

I don't think its that complex. I think theres a reason that he's not in the picture. Or they just miscounted and didn't correct themselves, kinda like the Big Ten.

 

The 12 locked up Adam 30 years ago. He's still locked up when season 2 starts. Peter and Nathan's dad died 6 months before season 1 began.

It would be impossible for Adam to be Mr. Petrelli. Especially when you take into account that Peter seems to be less than 30 years old on the show.

Also when Matt starts mentally messing around with Mrs. Petrelli, she refers to Kaito's killer as a person named Adam that the 12 had to lock away a long time ago when they found out he was immortal. She doesn't refer to him as her husband who the 12 locked away but not really because he lived with me for the last thirty years and raised two sons with me and was under investigation by a DA's office and then committed suicide, but somehow no one in the company knew he was missing for those 30 years and then he magically got locked up again and tells other people (who he'd have no reason to lie to) that he'd been locked up for 30 years.

 

the writers have said his power is more than that.

as for the 12...Kring calls them The Numerati.
