They auditioned the guy who plays Daniel Jackson on Stargate SG-1 for Cyclops. He and James look remarkably alike, if they'd both wear the visor.

I prefer Marsden, though.

well "Dad" the X-Movies in general...Cyke has gotten the shaft both times...which is why i always ALWAYS watch the extended branching version...more Jimmy ...and he's damn good too, being all sarcastic, plus Jean defends him too...my sister makes fun of me everytime i giggle at the short little scene when Jean and Cyke are holding hands

I know I'm sounding thick but where to Jean and Cyke hold hands in X1? I've never noticed it before.

It was in the deleted scenes. There's a clip where Scott is teaching the kids mechanics of some kind, and he holds Jean's hand.
