I'm not sure Trump even WANTS to do anything, judging from his demeanor the past few days. He looks like a guy who lied on his resume, and realized he's in over his head when he actually got the job. Either that or he never wanted to win anyways and has that look that his bluff got called, and how stupid Americans need to be to actually vote him in. It's all quite comical.
I don't think they have to wait 4 years now that Bannon is on board. In fact, I think his supporters are either going to be in denial and say it's not that bad, or they're the bigots in his base and actually support his "hires". Either way, they're not gonna fight it, even though it's against their own interests. Like everyone else, their ego is on the line, so they can't admit they made a mistake. I can already see all the rationalization my Facebook feed about him staffing his cabinet so far with establishment republicans and corporate lobbyists and millionaires, and a bit of nepotism with his sons in tow. It's really up to the losers (Clinton supporters), and the hard democrats like Warren and Sanders to fight anything at this point. I was neutral, bordering on disapproving of the protests earlier in the weekend, since it's causing more destruction and in the end probably won't accomplish much. But hearing news of Bannon coming on board, bring on the riots baby!
The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots & tyrants. It is it's natural manure.
