Here is thing if i had my way no film based on marvel comic would be using
elements from ultimate comics but every studio is doing it.

It's been known this film is basicly ultimate FF the movie. Now that doesn't
mean there won't be any elements of 616 in film.

The trailer will tell us everything.

Then we can make decsions on film.

They hired the marketing team from The Amazing Spider-Man 2?!

:rimshot:

This guy is legit, btw. He leaked Chappie and Terminator Genisys trailer screens a couple months before they hit.

Any more info on this guy or if he has seen officially or leaked?

What if we see the trailer and Doom actually looks better than he did in the leaked still?

Woah, this is the positive thread, not the crazy optimist thread.

#jokercrow

I am a crazy optimist. Fox started making better films after losing Tom Rothman. And keep in mind that Quicksilver, Bane and Captain America didn't look very good and weren't comics accurate. Remember how all of those turned out?

You mean in Hollywood something like a guy in costume shot by a cheap phone. Will look better when shot on a high tech camera and they are able to enhance it through controlled environments and CGI? Wow that sounds amazing.

Hahah and for all we know that could have been a doombot or costume/ lighting test. We know nothing but that leaves some to just assume the worst.

I have a good feeling about the trailer getting leaked within the weekend. I can feel it.

I look forward to finally seeing trailer soon.

My gut reaction to it will be my guide.I should have listned to my gut back in 2013 and not payed to see star trek into darkness and man of steel.it warned me i would hate iron man 3.and it sent warnings about ASM2.

Considering that Simon Kinberg is said to be rewriting the 2016 stand alone star wars film and will write the 2018 stand alone star wars film and the 2018 film
will reportly be directed by josh trank lucasfilm is hiring those behind this reboot.

DOFP had reshoots too.that didn't doom that film.

I am sure you will like it and I am sure you will pay to watch it! :)

So as I type this I am watching Roger Corman's F4 film for the first. Maybe it's because my expectations are so low but so far I don't think this is such a bad film. Its crazy cheesy for sure but there's a charm and heart to it that i really like. Also, the score for this is surprisingly REALLY good. The main F4 theme is very catchy and very John Williams-y. I'm actually surprised this ONLY cost them $1 million dollars to make. It's a shame, with a couple more million bucks put into this budget this could've been a legitimate hit in the 90's I think.

Also, Dr. Doom looks the best he's every looked in this movie imo.

Without knowing the motive behind the reshoots it is hard to know if it is a negative or a positive.

The first F4 movie had reshoots, one was simply an add on (the New York scene with Sue....but the most significant one was the finale, and that was A HUGE RESHOOT...and we knew about it, and we knew why....and the finale that Fox made Story shoot was not what he wanted, and when they saw it afterwards they realized they should have gone with his vision. Instead we got a half ass of his vision and it sucked. So, coming from Fox can't say a lot of positive, but if it is to make the film better...well then more power to them.

I think you positive folks know my feelings on this film, but I wanted to let you know that reshoots might be filming in Romania (note that I said might, as I'm no insider). Check out the Reborn thread. The head of the makeup department for FF and Miles Teller will apparently both be there. Latveria, perhaps?

When we first started hearing about reshoots to add more action to the third act, I thought I remembered something like that with the first film but couldn't remember clearly.

If they did put a lot more into that, I wonder what it would have looked like without the reshoots.

I have always wondered what the original footage looked like. If what we saw was better? Maybe I don't want to know...

Yeah. It's not like what we got was amazing, so it's hard to imagine what a less ambitious effort would have looked like.

Wasn't the reason Kinberg was brought in was to rewrite to bring down the budget? I'm wondering if the reshoots are simply putting pieces of the original script back together instead of full rewrites.

That's possible, but it has little to do with the fact that this looks to be an extensive overhaul of what was actually filmed in the first place. I'm also going to have a very difficult time taking Simon Kinberg's word on anything going forward. If Miles Teller and the head of the makeup department are really going to Romania for FF reshoots (and what else would they go to Romania for, a romantic weekend?), Kinberg lied about the extent of the reshoots. It looks like MBJ may have already been doing reshoots over a week ago, so that 3-4 days nonsense may be debunked.

How do you know it wasn't preproduction for that Rocky spin-off? First day of shooting doesn't mean everyone arrives that day.

The "Fantastic" (quotations are mine, capitalization isn't) implies that it's FF, plus MBJ probably won't be doing FF reshoots during principal photography on a big name film he's starring in. Even if it isn't, multiple sources have said reshoots are happening in Louisiana. If a Romania shoot is happening as well, there's more than four days of work being done. Regardless of any personal feelings on this film, it is beginning to look more and more like that extensive reshoot story was spot on.

It's that just second unit pick up stuff? Not sending the whole crew somewhere for a few shots?
