Here's a list of achievements for Revelations 2 for those who are cheevo hunters. Nothing is really spoilery, but if you're super sensitive, you might not want to do them. I'm not super clear on why they're cut up like that. I guess the upper ones are general achievements, and the bottom ones are episode specific ones?

I was also mistaken earlier. I was under the impression that the Barry episodes were the exclusive episodes if you bought the season pass. Looks like the episodes alternate between Claire and Barry, and the two exclusive episodes are spin-offs about the two new female characters and are in the retail release. Not even if sure at this point if the season pass nets you anything, I think it's just the base four episodes.

EDIT: Okay, the season pass does include the bonus episodes after all then:

So we don't play with Claire all the time?

Claire and Barry's daughter for some episodes, and Barry and another young girl (the one with the stuffed animal pictured) in some. I don't think they've said what the split is. The achievements seem to imply Episode 1 and 2 are Claire and 3 and 4 are Barry.

I didnt even know Barry was playable. I thought it was just Claire and Moira with any additional characters being for Raid. People have been wanting Barry playable for years. Unless i missed the announcement, Im surprised a bigger deal wasnt made out of this

Most of those people that wanted a playable Barry have probably left the franchise.

It was kind of confusing, because he was announced at the same time they announced the details of the season pass and retail getting the two bonus episodes, so I assumed that he was the bonus episodes and not part of the main story.

Considering how restrictive the release of the game has been up until then I figured it'd sell pretty well. Wonder what that translates to in actual sales.

*Cue people talking about this brings hope that Capcom will return to this style of game, therefore setting themselves up for eternal disappointment.

If anything, I hope this makes them consider remaking RE2

Unless this thing sold like 7 million copies, it won't.

Would be nice. The 1st 2 have the most nostalgia for me. At the time of 3 I wasn't gaming quite as much.

It annoys me when they want to give us the that oh it broke records factoid but they won't give us hard figures.

How much more does Capcom need to consider a Remake of RE 2 in the same style as the hd Remaster?

Do we have any idea what we can expect from RE7 or when there will be first infos?

RE5-6 had a solid gameplay but weak storys(especially 6 imo) and bad enemy design(mostly).

most likely this E3. Its been 2 and a half years since 6. I think they will announce 7 in June for a 2016 release

Way more, probably. REMake was a complete up and down remake, basically an entirely new game. This game may have broke a record and stuff, but unless it sold as much or more than RE5 and 6, then there's no realistic chance it'll happen.

Last chance of sort, to get the pre-order bonus on next week’s Resident Evil Revelations 2. This 10th installment of the Resident Evil series is 22% off after coupon at GMG. At checkout the price drops from $24.99 to $19.50 for the “Complete Season” version of the game, while the full version with a few extra DLC packs drops from $39.99 to $31.20.

Over at PayPal Digital’s eBay store, they have $50 worth of PSN Card for only $40 - essentially making it 20% off any items on PSN (or stacking even more when PSN sale goes on). It’s a purely digital delivery via email, so you won’t need to wait for a physical card in the mail. At the same online “auction” site, you can grab 1 years worth of Xbox Live Gold for only $35.99 on NewEgg’s eBay page.

Civilization fans might take interest in a sale going on at DLGamer. They’re having a large 45% off discount on Civilization: Beyond Earth, cutting the price to $27.50. An even greater percentage discount can be had on Civilization V: Complete Edition, now 75% off dropping to $12.50. No coupons or other hassles to mess with on these deals.

Just a bit of correction, but I'm pretty sure this actually comes out the day after tomorrow on Xbox consoles.

I'm holding out for a physical 360 release. Can't wait to play as Barry though.

Pretty sure the physical copy releases in March across all the platforms.
