Mad props to the guy/gal who designed that Beyond suit but it just looks too robotic, like a cyborg or something. It's supposed to be high tech but not necessarilly as obvious tech as that design - it looks like a TDK equivalent of Batman Beyond. Plus, the scallops are sticking out like a sore thumb.

I think a similar direction like they had in Tron Legacy would be a pretty good starting point for a Beyond film.

As for the Bane manips, they're all pretty awesome! Though I think Nolan and crew will surprise us with Bane's design - hopefully in a good way.

its a good take on Bane (i like the one on the right), but if its something you want from Nolan, i dont think you're gonna get it. but it was a very nice manip, great job!

the green tubing and the red eyes on the second one are what told me it was Bane

He sure does. They aren't really a part of his iconography, though, and he is more of a minigun guy than a sniper.

I don't really understand the space ranger approach to Bane's design; it seems to have a following, nevertheless.

Yeah, I'd be fine with Bane using a gun or two in the movie, but they're not something so often associated with him that they should be prominently featured in promotional or first-look stuff, because people aren't going to associate that with the character unless it's spelled out for them.

That mask is much preferable, IMO. I think no matter what mask design they go with (and there should definitely be one, if you ask me) they should have that pattern on it. It's recognizable to fans, and distinct enough to stand out even to those who don't know Bane going in.
