The Dark Knight Rises The RETURN of the Official Thread for "BATMAN 3" Fanart & Manips

Wow... this stopped being the Fanart & Manips thread a while ago didn't it?

How does this explain why we are likely to see Hardy's Bane wear a business suit? How does it indicate why that would be relevant to the character or his situation?
It doesn't, I just thought it would be funny to post a pic of Bane in a suit...

Then everyone else ran with the bane pic, which was very amusing to me.

Please try to answer without silly icons or "Lolzrs". I have decreasing patience for them.
Then you shouldn't really be wasting your time in any fan forum, that's all you get in those places.

That's exactly how I think Nolan will handle it.

And I think he'll use something like this(the censors won't let Nolan let Hardy shoot up with a needle):

area51_injection_gun.jpg

He'll load various doses of Venom into this gun which is kept on his belt in a small medi-pack. When he needs to dose, he takes it out and injects it straight into his neck. Awesome.

Yeah, I watched cartoons when I was little, too. How does this explain why we are likely to see Hardy's Bane wear a business suit? How does it indicate why that would be relevant to the character or his situation?

Because intelligent businessmen wear suits?

For all of Bane's villain-ness, he's still an incredibly smart man who does business with other incredibly smart men.

Incredibly smart businessmen where suits.

That simple.

Also, :awesome::yay::csad::woot::cmad::o:whatever::cwink::huh::fhm:

Bane should rock a suit in at least one scene.

Why? Cause it looks awesome.

I like that Bane is a chill dude. I hope we get some scenes, like in Knightfall, of him just kickin' it in his hideout/bachelor pad, watching TV and plotting Batman's destruction.

Do you think they'll keep Tom Hardy's tats as part of Bane's new interpretation?

I hope not, something about a completely clean cut bruiser just comes off much more ominous to me.

You can be clean-cut and have tattoos. It just depends on the tattoos.

Stumbled across this online....don't know who to give credit to, not mine.

Nice though, real nice.

That's quite a few pages back. It's safe to assume if you find it anywhere other than here, it originated here.

Love it. this is how he could start out looking. Then he will change his costume. Very Nolan like Imo. :yay:
Very Nolan-like to completely ignore the visage of his characters? Hardly. I'm surprised people took a liking to it. It's completely unrecognizable from the character. Moreover, it's depressingly boring to look at.

^ I believe every one who liked it also justified why they liked it.

The concept art is not legit, the artist said that he wanted to get into the TDKR team, that's why he made them.

Hmm... i was just thinking about how it would make sense if Catwoman (assuming there is not "just" Selina Kyle) and Bane had "nearly" identical outfits if they are on the same side at the beginning or end of the movie.

^Thanks! Added a Venom tube to my newest Bane manip.

Though it is highly unlikely we'll see these tubes in the film. It's a highly impractical gadget.
