Michelle had pretty poofy hair (it wasn't exactly 'long,' but it was certainly 'big'), and she never looked 'teh puffy' when in the mask. I don't think it's really a huge issue. Either Nolan wants her to have short hair, or he doesn't. That's it.

Her hair only looked big because it was styled that way:



Her hair was never more than shoulder-length so it was very easy to conceal under the thin mask. It probably looked more like this:



I'd prefer a long-haired Selina myself, especially since I think the shorter hairdo tends to accentuate Anne's naturally loud features. Though depending on the type of mask they choose the length may have to be sacrificed.

bane will wear a mask. c'mon. nolan wouldn't change something like that. that's a guarantee, he has more respect for the material. if he chose to use a character like bane, he wouldn't completely eliminate his one recognizable feature, that's ridiculous.

Yet, Nolan can create a Joker that wears make-up instead of being dropped into a vat of chemicals? In any case, when it comes to Bane, mask or no mask, I BELIEVE IN NOLAN!

yes, because he was still immediately recognizable as the joker. that's all i mean, you'd think that the main physical characteristic of the character would remain intact. joker has green hair, white face, red smile, purple suit. so bane i imagine will have a mask of some sort and be somewhat muscular.

You got a point there. Hardy did say Nolan was going to kinda reinvent the character so anything is possible.

Beautiful! I've always been a fan of long, flowing tresses, but that manip makes her look so lovely and sophisticated. Short hair can be hard to pull off, but I like the way she looks in that manip, at any rate.

Her hairstyle is not a big deal to me either way, though.
