You can't really lay claim on manip base pics. Hell I used Juggernaut for Martian Manhunter at least 2 maybe 3 years ago.

I hope I didn't come off sounding mad about it. I'm actually happy people are doing manips similar to one another. That's how it has always been.

I think the Juggernaut physique is the closest to what Bane should look like and Hardy has it in him to buff himself up to that level.

here is a Catwoman manip I'm working on. I based the design on Tim Sale's Catwoman from The Long Halloween but I do no in any way believe that this is what she will actually look like. It is a work in progress so I still have a bit of work I need to do to it.

I made this drawing moments ago.

This is pretty close to what a 5'10ish, 200 pound man would look like. Even added lifts to his boots.

As you can see I left a couple of Ed Hardy's tattoos (even added a snake design on his left forearm). I think moderate tattoos on a realistic Bane would look pretty badass.

Biker gloves. Black military pants tucked in his boots. Tank top. Regular belt with a couple of pouches. As for the mask, it's supposed to be a lucha libre mascara. I always got that impression whenever looking at the illustrations or even the cartoons.

IMO, it's a basic, realistic yet badass look for the Bane character.

I think that looks awesome! Love to see him turn out like that.

I don't think that in Nolan's version of Bane will have those venom tubes going through his body. I bet he will be more of a junkie, that takes syringes of venom, you know...

Like a meth junkie...that liks the power strong adrenaline kick he gets from venom!

Thats just my version though...lol

Thanks guys. I really wanted Bane to give Bane the look of a former prisoner with the moderate ink and the basic street clothes attire that gives him a tough-guy look. As for the mask, there's no question in my mind that he should have a luchador mask.

However I do agree the mask looks too "luchadorish". I think it's because of the eyes.... it makes it look like a Rey Mysterio rip off. I'll definitely attempt to change it.

I'm also thinking about making another one with the same image of Tom Hardy with this attire:

That's the first redesign of Bane that I actually would love for this series. I would agree with deviating a bit from the Luchador-style mask, but maintaining the core design.

Well I wouldn't worry about the mask so much.
I mean, even in the Nolan Bat-verse there's still a guy that walks around with a bat mask on...
And it would be the same for Bane then.

Here is an updated version although I'm still working on it. I changed the eyes to tone down the luchador look to the mask although I'm still open to suggestions and would consider making changes.
