Anyone interested in making a (permawhite) Joker manip for me?

For reference, the actor is Mackenzie Crook.

Isn't that the guy from the Pirates movies who's always losing his eye?

Yeah.... he's no Joker.

One of my best friends thinks Kevin Michael Richardson is the best Joker, and refers to Hamill as "not bad, but no Richardson".

You're basing him on that performance? He was brilliant in The Office (UK)

Heath Ledger? The guy from 10 things I hate about you?

Yeah..... he's no joker.

Exactly. Anyone who said "Heath Ledger? Perfect!" when he was announced was a liar.

I HATED him when he was announced, I admit; and I gave a lot of negative feedback back then too. Wasn't a fan of him when the first WSS concept photo was released. A few days after though it began to grow on me, and I progressed throughout; I became a hardcore fan of Ledger's Joker when the first poster came out and theatrical trailer. December 2007, I believe is when I became dedicated; I was such a hypocrite. Ended up buying and loving the concept photo on the limited series shirts. LOL :hrt:

My initial reaction was "Who?", and I thought he looked nothing like the Joker. The WSS concept photo had me concerned, and it wasn't until the trailer that I was fully convinced.

i did not say perfect, but i said "i can see that." and i'm not a liar. i knew he was a good actor, i knew he had a good smile, and i trusted nolan's judgment. i, at the time, had no idea who would make a good joker so i had no opinion on who should be chosen. when he was announced it was totally out of left field and i agreed with it. i had no doubt he would rock it.

just sayin

You can search my posts if you don't believe me, but I supported Ledger's casting from Day One.

The first photo of The Joker, on the other hand.... yeesh.

I always figured there had to be a damn good reason why Heath was cast in such an iconic role. This was before all of the blind faith in Nolan rhetoric became the norm.

We're not privy to audition tapes or the casting process, so sometimes all we can do is remember that these actors/actresses beat out their competitors for a reason.
