For me Hathaway is a beautiful woman, but not sexy, not sassy, not sex on legs. All the things that Michelle was in Returns. Hathaway is stunning, she really is very beautiful, very pretty. but for me she's not catwoman. Rachel Weiz & Theron to name two do embody this.

I think people take that from most of her roles, which are usually the girl next door type cuz of the success of The Devil Wears Prada. But if you look at the right pics, or some of her lesser known roles, like in Havoc, she can TOTALLY be sex on legs. Plus, I think CW needs to have a certain ambiguity, she´s a femme fatale but also has noble, heroic elements, particularly in the more recent comics, and Hathaway can totally embody that ambiguity IMO. Especially given that the movie will have Holly, who has Selina as kind of an older sister figure. Pfeiffer was great, but she played more of a vengeful, psychotic CW.

It's a great pic, nice symbolism, kinda reminds me of the riddles in Arkham Asylum. I'm sure had the whole Schumacher thing not happened before, many people would actually be pro-Carrey for that role.

Actually, Charlize was my first choice for the role. But I´m happy with Hathaway. Just saw her second SNL hosting where she did a hilarious impression of Katie Holmes. I don´t recall if she´d been cast as CW already, but it has amusing ironic undertones now.
