*smirk* You'll keep reading and complaining about it, be realistic.:D

Oh c'mon, Molly's stand alone this season was awesome.

That would be like me saying Wolverine holding out against Namor was awesome. I simply will NEVER say it. *Foams at the mouth.*

Molly>>>>>>>>>>>>Wolverine

Agreed. But you forgot a few.

Steaming pile of dog ****>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Molly>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>My older sister>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>My twin sister>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Wolverine.

Seriously though, why all the hate for her? I always joke, but no one has given me a reason? I dunno why really, but she is my fav. Plus got to love the hat right?

The hat is part of the reason. She just seems so stereotypical to me. I'm sure she's just fine as a character. But she just feels like another cut from an already endangered cloth. Every other Runaway to me was far more interesting. Especially Karolina, Nico and Chase.

:mad::mad:

She recharges her powers by sleeping. I could so use that.

lol Maybe that's why. I can't sleep for more than two or three hours at a time. I'll admit, this limit on her powers is original. But a little tiny girl who's the tank, as well as wiser and more mature than her teammates just feels done. Most notably in Japanese animation.

I know it's a fictional character but aren't you going a bit too far with this? I mean, brutal sodomy? Not to mention on a child?

It's all in good fun. I'd rather her be written differently before death. Just bustin balls ;)

'Twas good I agree. I liked how it read like a loopy children's fantasy tale. Fit Molly perfectly.

I certainly don't see that. Seems to me that Gert was probably the most mature of the bunch.

How awesome would it be if Franklin Richards joined the Runaways. He's got plenty reason to run away from home now that his family is all divided. It'd be muuuuch better if he were older but after reading the issue of Thing where he taught Franklin a lesson about spending money; I think he's pretty damn mature for his age.

Franklin Richards SHOULD be a teenager by now even by "Marvel time", but I think so may writers seemed to not really want to bother with a kid that he got sort of stuck and now he's perennially around 8-11. If he'd been in DC since the end of the 60's you KNOW he'd have served on some incarnation of the TEEN TITANS by now.

Speaking of FF continuity teenagers, y'know who may make a fun Runaway? Kristoff Vernard, who was once groomed by Doombots to be the heir to Doom and who was about 13 the last we saw him and has been in limbo for a good decade. So he could easily be in the same age range as the regular RUNAWAYS by now and could have some fun character conflict with Chase. But I'm just brainstorming here. Plus, as Victor was once believed to be the "son of Doom" for 1 issue, it'd be fun if they met the ACTUAL "adopted son of Doom".

Hmm, that would be interesting. I wouldn't mind seeing Frankie on the team. But how would he get to L.A.? Kristoff might be an interesting addition too.

Granted, considering his crush on Cassie Lang back in '96, he probably would be better in YOUNG AVENGERS, but that'd horn in on Vision 2.0's territory. Besides, the Runaways have no "armor people". Vision 2.0 technically IS armor.

Nico and Karolina were by far the most responsible. Gert was the one who believed she was all sorts smart (so smart as to mistranslate "sophist" which is "wiseman"), but not ONCE used her brain to solve a problem, where every other single member of the team had by then. Unfortunately, she did have a point about always giving people the truth. However, she lacked the maturity to deal out the truth as needed to certain audiences. I mean, if I unloaded the truth on an impressionable young child who wants nothing more than to believe her mother is a good person, there's a good chance the child will go berserk and kill the team over my pride of being "right".

^Thanks :D I could see his mental blocks sloooowly coming off as the series progressed. There'd have to be a cap on it though before he got "too" powerful, ya know.

Ok, Reed and Sue have an argument on TV during a fight in CW(or something, as long as Franklin sees and nobody's home). He gets upset and runs off to one of Reed's teleporters and goes wherever it takes him.....and bam! He's in L.A.

Plausable?

Maybe like his Powerpack days. Only with energy blasts or something.

If there are any kids left in the 198 left they CERTAINLY would have a reason to be Runaways.
