agreed. Mckeever could've been great on this book.
That GAH's notion that there hasn't been racial mingling is wrong like a ho?What does that have to do with anything?
Better than he looks like he'll be on Teen Titans.agreed. Mckeever could've been great on this book.

Maybe -- just maybe -- they'll explain how powerful is the Staff of One, since Dormammu supposedly fears it.
The Staff of One can cast ANY spell. That includes spells Dormammu, Umar, and the Vishanti can cast as well. And so far, we don't see it actually fail on anybody. It seems to work no matter what so far.
That means, she could probably exterminate Dormammu with the right spell, with little problem.
The Staff of One can't revive the dead. Runaways #2, Volume 2: Nico said she couldn't revive future Gert because she already tried to use the spell for Alex and failed. Even the Staff of One has limits.
Maybe.
For ressurection, magic isn't as easy said and done (pun!).
She might have used the spell incorrectly,
because we don't know why certain words that are related to the spell happens. It may be influenced by it's user directly.
She might have tried to revive his dead body, rather than him himself, and simply has been afraid to try it again, as we've seen her doubt herself from time to time. And considering it's Alex, and she really messed it up, she might not want to try it on another friend.
Yes, she did fail to do it, and we might assume the Staff either can't do it, or she doesn't want to mess up again.
While it may be influenced by her intentions (as is most likely the scenario), it might also require something specific, and a deeper understanding of what she's doing, or what she's dealing with.
As for the "incorrect usage", we know she didn't use it right. We've seen magical ressurections in the past, and if she did it right, Alex woudl've been out and about.
Well, there's also the possibility that all we've seen so far is Nico barely using the full extent of the Staff's capabilities. Her experience is literally trial and error, with little background on magic.
Maybe, maybe not. We could speculate why (and in circles, more or less), but the spell ultimately failed, whatever the reason.
I could've swore I said she had a low skill level. x.x Totally my fault there, sorry. I did mean to say that she might not be good at it, though I did allude to it when I said it might be more than she can understand.
A good example would be when Alex got it, and just hammered away with spells like nothing.
We know the spell failed, I'm not saying it was successful. I'm saying she might not be willing to re-experience it, given that she didn't even want to talk about it from the first time, because it was that bad.
