ummm Young X-men was a good story, but it was "inbetween" 2 good arks, and was actually kinda weak and "out there", Spidey had F'd up stories during that time period. The writer didnt matter.
Wolverine was kinda boring too but i actually enjoyed ramos's art in it.
so your point is mute. I know i for one have never boughten a comic just because the writer.
How is my point "mute", the word is "moot" by the way, just because YOU have never bought a comic for a writer? Just because you haven't doesn't mean that plenty of others don't. Anyway, you're the one who brought up that the titles were going through a "writing slump", so if you're going to turn around and say that, it seems more like your point is the one that is moot. Why is Young X-Men now in this discussion? Guggenheim is writing it now, but Ramos, the point of discussion, is not doing the art for that. Anyway, of all those titles, at least half or three quarters were going through anything but a "slump", so the art was at least some kind of a factor in how the sales turned out. I've never said that Ramos was the sole deciding factor in it, but it's almost foolish to say that he didn't play some part.
