What's wrong with Sex appeal. The guy terminators are done for sex appeal too. They don't make them ugly scrawny guys.

Schwarzenegger, Patrick, Biehn, were not cast or written in the movies for sex appeal as say, Kristanna Loken was. Recall the ridiculous scene in which the cop goes up to her and her breasts inflate to a larger size. Again, MIIB suffered from the exact same problem. Instead of writing good solid characters, let's just slap a bimbo lingerie model in there with a nice rack and make her the main villain.

If they're going to make one of the Terminators a female then at least make her appear strong or imposing.

Well...part of the reason they made the terminators were cause they were suppose to blend in. Personally, I think a sexy girl can blend into anyplace...bascially they're more deadly cause no one expects them to be a killer.

Headey looks hot, as usual and the previews for this show look promising. My only concern is that the events of this show are gonna f-up the continuity within T3. I could have sworn that during Conners (Stahls) monologue at the beginning of T3 he said the last Terminator that came after him, was the T-1000..or something to that effect.

Its been confirmed by many sources the show takes places after the events of t1 and t2 and starts off 5 yrs after t2 which was set in 1994 and the show will start in 1999. The events of t3 dont happen in the show and all that. The producers of the show said they didnt not want it in same timeline as t3 and stating t3 events happened in an alternate timeline. It is a smart move making the show based after the events of t1 and t2 and not have t3 apart of the timeline in the show cause most terminator fans hated t3. I thought it was a good movie but had many bad and good parts to it.

Terminator 3 will be completely ignored by this show, so they can pretty much continue Sarah and John's story and way they please.

Series Creator Josh Friedman talked about this in an interview a while back:

Friedman: We're gonna go off on our own. I think the thing about T3 is, obviously there was just no Sarah Connor and that's something the fans were never happy with. I don't even think the people who made T3 were happy with that. It just wasn't a choice of theirs. You know, Linda Hamilton was going through some things and didn't want to be a part of it. They had a script at one point I know; there was a T3 that had Sarah in it. I've never read it. I don't know anything about it. But I know that they did and they wanted to do that. They wanted it to be kind of her trilogy, and it never could be. So I think that my feeling was this TV series to me sort of serves as the third act to that trilogy - what could have happened had we followed that after T2. So I almost think of this as T3. To me it takes the place of T3. But also I think that sort of in the spirit of Terminator, it's an alternate timeline. I know a lot of people get very worked up about the continuity and the canon and all that stuff. What I try to do is stay very, very true to the first two movies and then sort of take it from there. But always remain true to the spirit of everyone's intent and again, take some time with this woman and explore what maybe would have happened.

I love the Sarah Connor poster, it's fantastic. Not a big fan of the others. I don't really like female Terminators. As you can obviously tell with the last poster, they only make the Terminators female for sex appeal. Just like they did with T3. Movies like MIIB suffered from the exact same fate, as well. There's no denying it.

i don't know what is more disgraceful,
the fact that they are raping the Terminator franchise even further by giving us this MTV Teen Audience PG Watered Down show,

or the fact that nobody wants to watch this. Its a pointless series.

We already saw what they gave us with T3, a watered down Teen Friendly piece of crap, whereas in direct comparison, T1 and T2 were both gloomy, violent and epic sci fi action masterpieces.

T1 and T2 contained some nasty killing scenes and some brutal violence.

Whereas T3 was a PG MTV teen friendly piece of crap.

This new show is further evidence.

Funny how in the original Terminator, Arnold just rips out a guy's heart in horrific and gory fashion,

and now 20+ years later, we get a kid friendly weekly series.

Talk about pissing on a franchise and disgracing it. This tv show is an abomination.

you won't see a Terminator rip out a guy's heart.
you won't see a Terminator poke a knife through a guys eye.
you won't see a Terminator machine gun down a whole police precint.
you won't see a Terminator morph into a woman and brutally shove a knife into a guys mouth through his head.

Oh dear, im sick of people destroying a story that has already been told and has no need to be expanded upon.

lets hope this writers strike and poor ratings kill of this piece of crap show.
Its on Fox anyway, so i shouldn't think it will be a problem.

you all saw what happend with T3.

Marco Beltrami did an orchestral score and didn't even use the main theme until the end credits (what a freaking moron he is).

the Terminator theme is like 50% of the actual series. Without that Brad Fiedel music, it just sucks turd.

No wonder T3 was a disgrace, disgraceful people with no regard for a great theme.

No wonder Brad Fiedel doesn't score movies anymore, when you have idiot directors making such pathetic decisions.

Fiedel's theme to the terminator series is like the Superman theme to superman.

Fox are indeed trigger happy when it comes to cancelling shows, but i think the strike might work in the shows favor (and every other show for that matter) because they (the networks) have limited things they can air and count on at this point. I'm suprised K-Ville has lasted this long, but like i stated the strike is working in some shows favor....

..just to add. I thought Nick Stahl was an utterly terrible and weak John Conners. They totally f'ed up his image by making him dependant on his wife...i'm not suprised you said this one sucks either.

^But FOX owns the rights. I wish Cameron owned all the rights, because if he did, we wouldn't have gotten T3, or have anything else continue his story that he clearly meant to be finished.

I do love the fact that this show is in an alternate timeline.
With that said, I look at this new timeline as a tangent of T2. I am still a firm believer that the main timeline ends with Judgment Day being prevented and the Connors living life honkey dorey.
