I'm surprised there this thread hasn't been made yet. Well anyway, the season literally just started.

I love how the opening credits have kept continuity from the movie. Including Spider-Pig.

This episode was actually pretty funny. Never thought about forcing my employer to hire me by manipulating his jaw before...Probably a reason for that.

I'm on the fence about this episode. It seemed pretty rushed.

Though I did get a kick out of Milhouse. "If it touches you, you die of suicide!" :woot:

Both Ralph and Homer are just getting more and more ******ed with each passing season. Eventually they're just gonna sit there drooling at us. It's pretty crazy.

Yeah. Something just seemed odd with those two. They weren't that funny.

I just hope the rest of this season won't be as underwhelming as this episode was.

It was pretty funny. I liked Colbert's character.

I think I may have chuckled once during the episode. After such a funny movie I was really hoping the show would take a turn for the better again, but this season seems about as bland as the last 7 or so. Oh well, I guess it's time to move on and realize the show just isn't what it used to be, and it probably wont ever be again.

Family Guy's Star Wars episode was WAY better!

I think I laughed once during the show and only watched because Colbert was playing the 20th character that was going to help/motivate Homer.

Shame that American Dad (once it returns next week) is the funniest animated show on Fox. King of the Hill is a car wreck and don't know how why that has lasted so long. But it got me thinking if Bush lost the 2000 election he probably would've shown up as a guest voice in some episode.

I take it none of the classic writers who contributed to The Simpsons Movie decided to return to the show :( .

The show was good at first for the first 10 or so seasons but the series is dragging on, same old stories and not aging them ever they should finally put this show on pasture and make a series finale episode where Homer dies and the kids are grown up and move out and maggie talks for the first time. Marge cuts her hair short at the end and they move from Springfield.

They should finally end the series for good then bring the live action movie out.

The second episode was ALOT better. It featured some classic Simpsons moments.

The motorbike bouncing off of Barney was hysterical. :woot:

7-7.5/10.

A great improvement over the past couple seasons.
Will we Spider-Pig next season? I know they finished this season before the movie. (The opening scene for the first episode an exception)

My local Fox is showing all the Halloween episodes. They really need to release a DVD box set including all of them.

Eh... season 19? I certainly haven't been paying attention.

I dropped out after season 8 because the concept sort of broke, in my opinion.

I can't wait for Sideshow Bob and Cecil to return this season with John Mahoney playing their father

HAHAHAHA, I love the "Treehouse of Horror" episodes. I only saw the Mr and Mrs. Smith parody and the "Heck House" one, and i thought they were great.

I'm not sure of the timing of when last night's episode was made, but the outfits Millhouse and his uncle wore sure looked like an Indy IV reference to me.

Oh yeah, definately.

And why is it that the movie and video game are way funnier than the show right now?

Watchmen Babies in V For Vacation! Man, that had me rolling on the floor.

Comic Book Guy getting beat up by Art Spiegelman, Alan Moore, and Dan Clowes was priceless.

Anyone have a link? I cant find it anywhere
