Kinda surprised this hasn't been made yet. Anyway, we're closing in on the new season and, while official details haven't been released, CBS has released this promo featuring some of the new people...

And may I just say: If that ****ing meathead or his shrill redheaded girlfriend are members of the cast again, I'm out. :o

"Most successful in BB history?" ****ing ****. That does sound like Rachel, doesn't it? :csad:

Fortunately, Brendon doesn't really qualify. So at least I'm sure we won't have to put up with more than 50% of Brenchel.

And Russell Hantz's brother? CBS...... just stop.

This show gets faker and faker as it goes. The last few seasons are just sad. They're not even trying anymore.

This show stopped being good after season six. Excessive producer manipulation along with the fact that they keep bringing back players has just completely turned me off. I don't think I've actually watched an entire season all the way through since All Stars.

I'll take a brand new Hantz over Rachel or Brendan on a third tour of duty.

I just hope he's half as crazy as Lil Hantz was. I miss that creepy little bastard.

I want to see James and Chelsea return but I highly doubt it'll happen. I do not want to see Mike Boogie, Will, Jeff, Jordan, Brendan, or Rachel in that house again.

They did really good picking all-star coaches. Boogie, Dan and Janelle are all genuine stars. But why the hell go with Britney? She played an absolutely pathetic game. There are better female players. Still, 3 out of 4 is pretty good for these producers.

Oh, and why must we always get the over-the-top gay stereotype?! We're not all melodramatic, flaming queens. Frustrating. beyond. Belief.

It's pretty hilarious that the majority of the house already suspects Willie being a Hantz relative. It'd be even funnier if he gets booted early on!

Janelle to me is the best player ever.....not just in the social aspect but she kicked butt in the competitions...

    I'd rank Janelle top five.

    I'd say this list is:

    1) Dr. Will who basically created the modern Big Brother game.

    2) Dan

    3) Rachel (love her or hate her, she plays an impressive game)

    4) Dick

    5) Janelle

Janelle ranks low for two reasons. First, she has never won a game, but she played better than most who have so she ranks above the other winners. However, I believe the reason she has never won is because she fails to comprehend what Will, Dan and Dick did: you don't need challenges to win the game (Boogie alluded to this, he would rank six in my rankings btw....but someone whose entire game depended on riding Will's coattails can't crack my top five). Will, Dan and Dick mastered this. Unlike Survivor where winning immunity only protects you, immunity in Big Brother makes you a target because you have to send someone home. You are better off not being HOH in Big Brother unless there are exceptional circumstances. In Big Brother, it is better to have lackeys do your work for you (and put the target on themselves). Janelle never got that. Neither did Rachel, but Rachel played so hard that it didn't matter, so she ranks top three.

Dr. Will needed people to do his dirty work...

Rachel needed help through part of her game...

    Dick Meh...

Janelle won the hell out of the competitions, and she didn't have to be annoying as hell to do it.

No other show on the face of the earth simulateneously entertains me and makes me die inside quite like BB does.

All players need help at some point. Janelle may have won competitions but she had virtually no strategic game. That is where Will, Dick, Dan and even Rachel all surpass her.

Will didn't need people to do his dirty work, he smartly chose to have people do it for him. Big Brother is actually a fairly complex game (it is disappointing that CBS only casts idiots in it because played by smart strategists, it could be incredibly compelling). Gaining power (which is what winning a challenge does, it gives power) in the game is a double edged sword because it means the one with power has to not only attempt to remove someone from the house (which can turn into a losing proposition due to veto) but they must also relinquish any shot at power and guaranteed protection the following week. Will was smart enough to let other people take on the responsibility of the power, while also being charming enough to be in a position where he actually wielded the power. Such game play has yet to be matched on Big Brother (in no small part due to the fact that CBS keeps dumbing down their cast each year).

On a side note, I would love to see Survivor caliber players cast in Big Brother because it is an infinitely more complex game.

Hmmm, had no idea anyone on this site even watched BB, good stuff. As one of the few people on the face of the Earth that actually enjoys Mike Boogie, this season just got a whole lot more interesting.

As to the show? Eh, as intelligent as Dan is, he did just a bizarre job of picking his team. I'm sure in the social scheme of things they'll flourish, but BB is filled with physical / endurance comps & that squad ain't gonna cut it.

Overall, good start to the season, Jodi was the least interesting person in the cast, from her initial bio to her performance.
