it would be laughable to see Hugh with that costume on. The truth is that i want he to use it very much, but must be some adaptation... forget those pointed ears and has to have less yelow! Theres a version with smaller ears, black and grey that would be cool..

Without seeing him in it I don't think we can definitively say either way.

What does everyone think about how this guy looked?

Looks scarier than Hugh Jackman that's for sure. We should have that suit by now...after all the superhero movies that have come out since the first X-Men, it's about time

We would need a proper reason though. No X-Man wears a mask. Why would Wolverine? Especially since he's the guy that likes to play dress up the least.

That's not bad, but the top part of the mask that curves should be shorter and not as wide. The sharpness of the sculpted mask from the film would look alot better imo.

In what universe does that look 'scary'? One of the great things about Wolverine is that he doesn't need a costume to intimidate anyone.

They could make up any half-ass reason for him to wear one, I don't care. Those mask/gloves look like they were at least going into the right direction.

EXCLUSIVE: THE WOLVERINE Storyboards and Interview with John Coven

If so, then he went out with a bang. I interviewed two of the storyboard artists that helped director Jim Mangold visualize the film and am sharing them in two parts this week. The first artist is John Coven.

Coven is a professional storyboard artist who's worked on big budget movies like The Usual Suspects (1995), X-Men (2000) and The Green Hornet (2011).

See the Motorcycle Fight You Didn't See in THE WOLVERINE Storyboards by Daniel J. Cox

Check out The Wolverine storyboards by Daniel James Cox!

Update: Daniel sent me some more storyboards for the Shingen Death scene!

This is the second The Wolverine storyboard interview that I did. Monday, I shared my interview with Wolverine storyboard artist James Coven. Today I'm letting you hear my conversation with Daniel J. Cox.

It was Daniel that suggested these interviews when I contacted him about his Fantastic Four designs. They planned a panel at Comic-Con, but couldn't get the studio's approval in time.

Cox is a professional storyboard artist, who's worked on Hollywood films like The Great Gatsby (2013), Fantastic 4: Rise of the Silver Surfer (2007) and Knowing (2009).

Hugh is at the re-opening of a movie theater in Iowa tonight (the theater was bought an restored by Hugh's agent's father). The event is also a fundraiser for a local hospital.

It's a two-screen theater (I remember those!), and they'll be showing Prisoners and The Wolverine. Looks like they got the same Wolverine t-shirts that we got at the fan screening in NY!

...and after seeing Prisoners today, I need to see The Wolverine again, just to recover from Prisoners. Great movie, but terrifying! :wow:

I saw THE WOLVERINE in 3D last night at my local second run theater. Fourth time seeing it. Still amazing. Gorgeous in 3D. The colors popped, it had such an amazing depth to the film. God I love it.

Same here and take some screenshots!
