One of my FB friends was raving about Man of Steel, and she added that the next two movies on her list were Pacific Rim and The Wolverine.

Those are the only remaining movies that I might watch this summer in theater.

Hoping NYC gets posters. The last time NYC had X-Men posters was Origins, and before that X3.

And this groundbreaking First Class campaign:

Just saw Man of Steel (which was awesome) and ended up at a Red Robin for dinner. The waiters are wearing Wolverine t-shirts.

I wish I have Red Robin in my country. I seriously never heard of it before until this sponsorship for The Wolverine.

Oh my I gotta go to Red Robin then! It's been like 10 years lol

Abayo: A word that is used to replace 'sayonara' ("goodbye") or 'matane' ("see you soon").

I have a feeling this will make me cry. :P

I hope its going to be a very emotional scene!

Fox needs to start their marketing I told my cousin about the Wolverine and he was like "what? there's a new wolverine movie coming out?"

Yeap! Same here..nobody knows about the movie here..and we're talking about 1 month for the release! It doesnt feel right... and i really dont understand..the studio is making mistakes over and over again... and then they want to make other great movie numbers at the box office..

I guess it depends where you live. We've had magazine covers/stories, TV spots, trailers, merchandise, what else do you want? Talk show appearances will be a week before the movie comes out and there will be premieres all over the world. When they start releasing featurettes and snippets from the movie around release time people will be complaining they are showing too much.

ehh I dunno
I live in the NYC area and even here we've been light on Wolverine stuff
that's after being bombarded with IM3 and MoS stuff for 2 months solid before their releases
I've heard from many people, even comic movie fans, who've had no idea a new wolverine flick was coming out

I guess they don't buy magazines or watch TV? Honestly, I don't know what else could be done at this point (I'm in NYC too and have seen plenty of stuff). The big stuff usually comes a few weeks before release since you want it fresh in everyone's minds, but there's plenty of stuff out there now.

If Mariko dies in this movie I just don't want to have another NNNNNNNNNNNNNNOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!! scene.

What do you mean by watch TV though, do you mean the NBA playoffs? Because I haven't seen one TV spot or any promotional material on television.

I've seen posters, tv spots, commercials for multiple tie ins, and trailers during Star Trek and IM3.

And, as usually, the commercials will ramp up to an annoyingly ungody amount when we're closer to release.

As have I. I even searched "the wolverine" on Twitter this weekend after a friend of mine commented on FB after seeing Man of Steel that it was the next superhero movie she wanted to see. Lots of people know a) there's a new Wolverine movie coming out, b) "ZOMG, it looks AWESOME!!", and c) they're seeing it.

I've seen new Wolverine toys in stores. I had dinner at Red Robin this weekend and they had posters and staff wearing Wolverine t-shirts. We got the soundtrack listing this weekend, so that's coming too.

Hugh is filming DOFP right now, so obviously he's not running around to all of the talk shows, which wouldn't make sense now anyway since the movie isn't out for another month.

We're still over a month out, folks.
