Is it really? I didn't know that. So I'm confused, when he was saying on your left he was just being courteous? I thought it was friendly teasing because he was running faster than Sam.

It's freaking Captain America. Worst case scenario the dude was joking. Nothing more.

The man went up against loki. if he survived that encounter, i doubt drones will get the better of him.

Nothing would make me happier, believe me! I hope there was an efficient channel to share our opinion with the Russo's. Enough of us and they could change their mind.

It's not like Cap will have a lot of spare time in Civil War for love interests :woot:
I would really like to see Steve happy with a good, deserving woman, at last. But if there is none worthy, he is better alone!

Steve and Sharon hardly got any screentime with each other in TWS, and in fact I think he has the least amount of screentime with Sharon than anybody in TWS except for Peggy in the hospital. It's unfair to write these two off as having no chemistry whatsoever. The same thing could've been said about Steve and Natasha in The Avengers as well. If they put some effort on it, Steve/Sharon relationship would work.

I don't agree. Steve and Nat had chemistry in The Avengers (probably more to do with Chris and Scarlett's real life friendship and past working history together than the script) and there's the huge difference is that Scarlett is far more talented that Van Camp and made her character outside of chemistry with Steve interesting in The Avengers. Now I wasn't impressed with her intro in IM2, so there's that parallel but I blame the writing and direction because I'd already seen her be good or great elsewhere. I've seen EVC's acting elsewhere and I'm not impressed. Chemistry also isn't usually a matter of time. Steve and Sam had it from the intro and that was just a couple of minutes. Steve and Peggy had it from the time they exchanged that look in the jeep.

Add to her character being a charisma void and the non existence chemistry, the well let's face it - icky thing where she's related to Peggy and grew up on stories of Steve and knows the history of him with her great Aunt - and what reason would they try and force this? Especially in a movie that has so much else going on with far more interesting and important relationships for Steve.

But I find the cast for her was poorly chosen. Look at Cobbie Smulders as Maria Hills. Every time she appeared on screen in TWS my girlfriend and I went wild with her charisma (even when we hated her for the HIMYM recent finale :cmad:).
I don't think any amount of screen time together would fix MCU Sharon. If it wasn't unnecessary and unwieldy I would vote for a recast.

it´s sad because I like Steve/Sharon in the comics, and I don´t want to be mean toward EVC, because she seems like a nice girl and, though I blame to the lack of development in TWS script, Cobbie Smulders had even less than EVC in the film and yet her scenes, walking side by side with Cap and Falcon, or the way she looks at Steve after the speech he gave, or how she was the coordination head in which Cap relied to, so they could finish it all with the last big strike... well, I kind of wished that the writers and directors would build more from Maria/Steve, than Sharon/Steve. Of course it is not ever in any cannon and it´s obvious that CW will be so full of story-lines, that sadly, it seems poor Steve will remain nostalgic of Peggy and nothing else for his love life.

While I want to give EVC the benefit of the doubt since she's been given nothing to work with thus far, I'm not a fan of her in general and will just have a hard time rooting for any romance with her and Steve. And I agree that Evans seems to have plenty of chemistry - even in the tiniest scenes - with everyone else but her. Not gonna lie, I'd totally be on board with Steve/Maria, comics be damned.

Reading through the last page.. can I say that cap basically is a very optimistic person? He always looks on the bright side of life and believe everything will turn out ok.

he is someone who believe "there is light at the end of the tunnel" and this positive attitude inspire others?

They've given Hill those little stares towards Cap since Avengers. I remember my friend dissecting the hell out of that back then. Wouldn't be surprised or disappointed if Marvel pairs them.

I think with the impending threat of Thanos. Romance should probably take a lesser priority for the Avengers, especially the Big Four.

I, too, am personally fine with no romance in CW.

Build up the main Steve relationship that matters... w/ Tony Stark!:sly:

Another little snippet. In the Avengers Tower party it looks like she is wearing a jacket over her shoulders that may very well be Steve's.
He is of the gentleman kind, but you don't lend your jacket to everyone :cwink:

why does there have to be romance in these films? there was none in winter soilder and guess what it was the best mcu film yet! imo
im looking forward to the opening sequence where steve will own the hidra soilders as hes likely to struggle against ultron.

I agree! there doesn´t need to be a romance, Cap and BW teased each other in friendly banter and that was really great!
Anyway, there are no more origin stories for the Avengers, those that present family, friends and love interest, so right now the stories they are all in deep, if the romance wasn´t established already, there is no more room for it in the plots.

anyway, little snippet from another add, my goodness Marvel put the Avengers in every product: Doritos, dr. Pepper, toys, audi, I lost count on the amount of products they are.

He's probably using the truck as a means to gain altitude by swinging and leaping

This. Some things in the comics should be left in the comics, and this is one of them. And I also agree, the actress isn't very good. Makes me wonder if it was Disney using their muscle to get her in, considering she's on one of their shows.

hey, can't you guys put these gifs in spoilers tags? Some of us don't want to see everything before the movie comes out. Thank you!
