What I -really- liked about WWH, is that Hulk -should- have lost several times in the story, but kept winning due to guile or circumstance.

Hulk stalemated Senty, Banner beat Reynolds.

Hulk failed to overpower Juggs. Juggs stood toe to toe with him and Hulk couldn't put him down or even hurt him.

Hulk crippled Doc Strange after making him believe he was going to stop fighting. If he hadn't done that (dirty pool) Doc could have just turned him into a butterfly or something.

Seriously, I know you won't admit it, but you know its true.

that being said, he is the world's strongest mortal and WWH 5 was pretty good. It went a long way towards redeeming this series.

I should also add that as far as i'm concerned, aside from the Zom debacle (total rubbish) the series was believable.

1. An uber juiced up Hulk beats Black Bolt? Absolutely

2. An uber juiced up Hulk kicks the crap out of the Avengers and Iron Man and the Fantastic Four? I'll buy that (Thor wasn't present)

3. An uber juiced up Hulk cheats to beat Doc Strange because he can't beat him straight up? Sure. We know the Hulk can't beat Strange and since he has a history of being a cheap shot artist this is in character.

4. An uber juiced up Hulk even surviving Zom?

5. An uber juiced up Hulk put a good licking on the Ghost Rider but fails to do any real harm? Sure

6. An uber juiced up Hulk is completely stalemated by Juggs? Definately.

7. An uber juiced up Hulk pwns the X-men? Works for me

8. Resists Xavier's mental attack? Puh-leaze.

9. Stalemates the Sentry? I can see it.

So all in all this Hulk love fest is 6 for 9 on the accuracy scale. Not bad

FACT: He stopped the Juggernaut then threw him like a little girl.

FACT: The Sentry lost all his power fighting the HULK, was ko'd and the HULK still had his power as he turned right back into the HULK after. It was almost like he turned into Banner on purpose as to not kill his friend.

FACT: It's been said before the HULK can fight off mental attacks. JUST LIKE I SAID A MILLION TIMES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So suck it up and get over it.

FACT: The HULK is STRONGER than Thor. The HULK's strength is infinite, Thor's is not. Plus he has bested him before and Thor himself has said that in brute strength the HULK is stronger. That's what makes the fight between them so cool though. The mightest "god" vs the mightest mortal. And this puffed up blond hair foo thinks he can smake around the HULK because he's a lowly mortal. Then get's his handed to him.



The real fact of the matter is the HULK did many things that you and others have said he couldn't. So...

He saved people Stange almost killed, then beat the piss out of him even after getting hit around for awhile. He even did it almost calmly.

No he doesn't. About three times in the story people say his strength is without limit. Including Strange. He turned right back into the HULK. And then got even madder as he was about to destroy the entire world.

You know, something just occured to me. If this was Juggernaut and he even just beat the entire X-Men at one time, you guys would go fricken nutter all over it. You'd have all kinds of Jugg piss parties and love fests. The HULK did it without breaking a sweat. You guys are so full of it. He stood up to Prof. X's mind attack which has KO'd Juggs before. He is far and above anything Jugg's could really dish out.

He read the comic where if it hadn't been for Strange getting a taste of how difficult it is to control PURE RAGE like the Hulk has to... Strange would have continued beating the Hulk to death. Thank Goodness Doc came out of it or the Hulk would be just a green smear. That comic.

If by that, you mean Hulk was being beaten up like someone who was missing arms and legs, was struck dumb deaf and blind in the last stages of cancer, and only beat up Strange AFTER Strange depowered, then yes.

I have to mention I do actually have a slight amount of respect for DACMAN, he does read his HULK comics a lot.

BUT I also have to say that HULK has been proven time and time again that he is not the strongest. And whilst psychologically he is an interesting character, I personally find that the WWH arc is making me lose interest in the character as a whole.

If you read ALL the Marvel comics, you can clearly see he is not the strongest, and WWH is perpetuating the idillic nature of fandom to a degree. My favourite characters are those who lose often, as that really shows character. I think WWH is just helping those who like the idea of supporting HULK like a sports team with a disregard to the sport in general and the CB universe as a whole.

I'm gonna play devil's advocate here and say this: this is a comic. It doesn't conform to the rules of reality. So technically, his anger can be infinite.
