Arrow The Summer Glau/Isabel Rochev thread

about Isabel Rochev I do not think she will go after Queen Consolidated Especially there is an company open for the takeing Merlyn Global Group

Merlyn Global Group is probably bankrupt by now. It's CEO was a mass murdering terrorist who destroyed a significant portion of the city and killed hundreds if not thousands of people. Not to mention dressing up in a Halloween costume and shooting people with arrows. My guess is that the company is under local, state, and federal investigation and is facing lawsuits up the wazoo. Queen Consolidated is a much better option for Isabel to go after.

Seeing as how this show got a lot of good mileage out of subverting some of our expectations, I wouldn't mind her being played as more of an obviously antagonistic force as opposed to the wolf-in-sheepskin clothing theme they had for Talia.

They could have her be more antagonistic AND have her seduce Oliver (Huntress proves that he goes for that type of girl at least initially).

I can't remember the last time when a DC hero got so many love interests within the tenure of just one season, now going into two.lol

Lets count them shall we. Sarah Lance, Laurel Lance, Detective McKenna, Helena Bertinelli. I have a feeling that Oliver and Shado will hook up on the island in season 2 and wouldn't be at all surprised if he sleeps with Isabel at least once. Guy sure gets around, doesn't he? Also, it would be cool if Shado shows up in Starling City unexpectedly with a five year old son named Connor, think of the reaction to that.

I'm still wondering on how they'll introduce her. Her name was on Robert Queen's list so she should already be a well-known/rich businesswoman in Starling City, as all other "Listers" were people with the means to cooperate in Merlyn's undertaking.
Maybe Ollie's father put her there in spite of the fact that she had nothing to do with the undertaking, just because he knew that she'd become dangerous for his city and his company one day.
Any guesses?

My guess is that Malcolm was blackmailing her like the others on the list. Now that he's dead and disgraced, she can make her move.

Unless it's the wrong type of lady (Huntress and maybe Isabel) or leads to kids (Shado).

With an outfit like that, one would think that she was the mysterious woman with red heels that we saw at the end of the Island flashbacks from season 1, who was also the employer of Fryers.

Oh I definitely think that's who she is, they just hadn't cast an actress back when those legs were filmed lol.

Oh yes, I also believe that she's Fryer's mystery employer. Also, having seen the first episode, she and Oliver are definitely going to hook up at some point, and it's going to end up biting him in the ass.

Kinky. Also, still kinda harsh to call a greedy, possibly-evil corporate executive an 'it'. :woot:

True, but I was referring to the sex specifically.

I really hope she'll find out Oliver's secret identity at some point. It would make an interesting contrast to Merlyn; who was mostly a physical threat as opposed to a mental one.

I really liked her. Also remember there was a business woman in high heels talking to Fyers at the end of last season, could potentially be her.

Bringing in Black Canary allows to have a high level female villain, wouldn't really be right for Oliver to seriously hit a woman beyond restraining them. The character she plays seems loosely connected to the New 52 write up, would expect some backstory involving her and Olivers father, mom obviously knows of her too.

Could be this seasons Barrowman.

Well, it was heavily hinted that Robert Queen cheated on his wife quite frequently. Could Isabel have been one of those flings?

Her relationship with Oliver's father was a strong point of her origin in the comics.

I wonder if Isabel Rochev will be the show's equivalent to Smallville's Tess Mercer.

Summer kind of looks like a younger Diane Lane in that photo.
