Oh, Toxin's back? I remember reading his mini and then never seeing him again.

Kiiiinda.
Except, Pat unfortunately isn't there anymore. Supposedly Blackheart killed him and took the symbiote for the plot in crossover with Ghost Rider, Rulk and X23. Brock, during Remender's last arc was forcefully bonded to Toxin. Things have been quiet for a bit, but Brock recently made the trip to Philly and it's early, but it's been pretty cool so far.

Oh boy.

I wonder what's up with that costume on Ramos' cover. I love it.

Oh, I like. Ock vs Peter, Carnage, and Ben's costume. Intriguing, all of it.

I don't don't see the point in the Red Venom/Toxin. We already had Anti-Venom (which I found kinda interesting) and normal Venom with people like Gargan or Flash. Toxin was never an interesting offshoot to begin with, so I don't see the point of reintroducing him.

Also, didn't one of the Carnage comics a while back introduce yet another boring offshoot nobody seemed to care about?

At this point I'd maybe suggest having the Venom symbiote reunite with Eddie and we can have just plain old Venom back. Then you could have Toxin bond with Flash which might seem more fitting because of how Toxin's first host tried to teach Toxin to be good (or some nonsense like that).

Well, that's disappointing.

Told you folks Doc Ock’s master plan was to take over New York and turn it into his own mini police state. First he gets the support of J. Jonah Jameson who doesn’t realize how much he’s being used. Then he sets up his city-wide surveillance system via the spider-bots. And now he’s getting his own spider-themed secret police force, probably no doubt supplied by Jonah himself. Once a super-villain, always a super-villain.

Well, this confirms it:
As of Superior Spider-Man #'s 9&10, Peter Parker is Truly gone.
:'(

That was kinda obvious when the solicit for Superior came out for #9. I highly doubt he's gone forever. It's just to extend this story longer.

all those Peter Parker naysayers, don't kid yourselves... he WILL be back SOMETIME down the line in the true red and blues... not Otto, not Miles, not Miguel, but the REAL deal...

no bet... it's a sure thing...

Aloha,
Agreed.Again, I'd say around the time of the second Amazing Spider-Man movie.
Spiritual matter(Peter) is neither created nor destroyed. It has to go somewhere. I still think Dr. Strange and maybe the New Avengers will have a hand in his return.

Why does that design look so familiar? Oh wait...

I think this is one of the most interesting Spidey stories that has ever been written at this point, especially where it all seems to be going, and I like the fact its going on for a while, I like long storylines that run throughout the year, instead of cheap 3-4 issue wrap ups. This is really cool. Also that suit is just beautiful.

Is it me, or do Spidey's new thugs seem like they are dressed as Ock's master planner thugs were back in the day?

I was a little suprised that they released so much information so quickly.

Pft. Typical Otto.

He says he wants to be a superior Spider-Man but he really just wants to be the superior MAN. It's quite obvious now that he's going to screw up Peter's life so bad that we'll go back to a (tweaked) original Spider-Man premise of Pete being an untrusted, misunderstood loner/underdog hero, doing the right thing with no recognition.

Pete's going to have no allies, no prestigious job and no one to turn to. Typical Parker luck.
