Comics The SUPERIOR Spider-Man - Part 2

Yeah but why would Spock's spider sense go off???

TBH the hole creeps me out lol.

Lol and the crazy thing is its just a drawing lol. I think its the mental picture of the scar in real life that creeps me out.

I don't think it's Normie. He was just in the Spider-Man 2099 arc and looked like a 10yr old boy.

Unless that 10yr old was [BLACKOUT]a clone[/BLACKOUT], remember [BLACKOUT]Jackal[/BLACKOUT] is still running around! :oldrazz:

This is what I used to love about this board...
It used to be so full of discussion over the tiniest things.

Now with "1" book a month, this site really died!
I will say this for Ramos at least, his art inconsistencies make us talk about the book and come up with theories again!

There is barely anyone talking about Superior Foes, Superior Carnage or even Superior Team-Up.
Scarlet was also not talked about as much, but it had more lively chat than those other books!

Well, since Superior is confirmed as ending, my idea won't work out:
Amazing 2x a month by Gage with input from Slott
Superior 2x a month by Slott

Superior dropped from twice a month to once a month??

I can't speak for others, but sometimes "real life" gets in the way...

I not only have my 15 year old son, but I have a 2 1/2 year old son and a 4 1/2 month old daughter that take up a LOT of my time... and it wouldn't surprise me if others get caught up with other home issues, or work schedules, etc...

When the month of May rolls around, I will have been on this board for FOURTEEN years... :wow: :csad: ... and there have been MANY lulls over the years, including the Spider-Man forums... this particular lull is about one or two months long... big whoop... if the history of this site tells me anything, it's gonna get "lively" sooner rather than later.

:yay:

Wow! That's almost as long as I've been here...

Very true! I try to keep up with reading here, but often, I don't have time to post.

And, TMOB, man, I don't know how you do it. We're around the same age and I have two kids around your oldest age. So, we're seeing light at the end of the tunnel. To start again with little ones... :wow:

It's both a blessing and a curse... Lol... :cwink:

Aloha,
Never thought you'd wind being and Old Timer:yay:It gives you a perspective on things that newbies (regardless of their chrono age) can't appreciate. There is an ebb and flow to the Spidey Universe that started almost at the very beginning of the character. I'm glad to have been around to see it all.Congrats on your 14 with the Hype. Some don't remember that before it was SuperHeroHype it was just SpiderMan Hype. You are a Keeper of the Flame:jedi

Whoa...how does the time fly?! I used to be here when it was Spider-man hype, and lurked around before joining up. It's all kinda sobering.

remember years ago in the Marvel Bullpen Bulletins when they had those ratings as to the extent of your being a Marvelite?... well, even though TMOB rates the KOF award as a Keeper of the Flame, I think he also rates the ultimate award, which if I remember correctly was a TTB, or Titanic True Believer... congrats on those younglings of yours, as well as for your longevity here on the boards... well done...

I don't know if it's been mentioned yet but Steve Wacker is no longer Spider-Man editor. He's been "promoted" to Marvel's Animation studios.

His replacement is Nick Lowe from the X-Men books.

I knew about Wacker back in December... I had heard who the replacement was though...
How is Lowe?
I only read 1 X-Book....

He's been the editor of X-Men since 07 but was associated with the books before then.

What's noteworthy is that Wacker was brought on ASM in the first place because of his experience editing DC's weekly 52 book and ASM was moving towards 3 times a month. I wonder if with this change, when ASM comes back it will go back to being monthly...?

Aloha,
I consider Stan Lee at 91 yrs old to be the Grand Master of the Modern graphic novel(formerly comic book).
That he is still personally involved in this medium is a great example of why comics are ageless in their appeal.
I "grew out" of comic books when I became a teenager only to come back to Spidey when I became an adult with executive director responsibilities.
I envy the teenagers of today.

OMG!!!
Just read a mini-interview with him!!!!
This might be really good news...depending on what side you fall on...
He became a Spider-Man Fan in the 1990's!!!!
With Wacker gone, could Lowe be the one to bring Ben finally back???!!!!???!!!

in before::doh:

I don't want Spiderman monthly again tbh. I am anxious to see how Superior ends though.

If it goes monthly, give us back Spectacular, Web of, Sensational and the quarterly Unlimited!
