I'll put this in spoiler for those who haven't read the newest issue...

So being that 2099 was last see destroyed, flooded, with the few survivors together in the Savage Land... and being that Miguel was obviously pulled from before that happened... either he has to go back to the future with no memory of this having happened (ala... the All New X-Men) or the 2099 future is suddenly a divergent and this isn't the same Spidey 2099 we were left off with. So this is just another Exiles-like Spidey 2099.

That's disappointing.

What if this is the TRUE Earth-616 2099 timeline and the one where 2099 gets destroyed and flooded is the ALTERNATE timeline? Because let's face it, by the time that 2099 was ravaged, the books had really begun to stink and lose direction.

It's not like another Spidey 2099 is going to pop up down the line and claim he's the real one, pointing his finger at the other and yelling FRAUD!!!! That s**t only happens in X-Men.

Pulled SpOCK back from the original 2099 timeline after the implosion and before the new 2099 timeline took it's place.

My question is what effect will that have if any with [BLACKOUT]SpOCK accessing Peter's memories between timelines and freeing him from being buried under the metaphorical "memory rubble"?[/BLACKOUT]

Could be the key to everything or it could end up being nothing. The end result is the same however.

Stop. It's not happening. Dude, you're obsessed. Every semi-mysterious figure that shows up, your first assumption is it's Ben Reilly, even if there's no clues pointing that way. If we're pulling names out of a hat, it may as well be Frederick Foswell!

Not as tricky as you'd think. The comatose body of Norman Osborn mysteriously vanished right around the time of the mind swap.

As for Ben Reilly, I won't say Marvel will never bring him back since they are the same company that brought back Bucky Barnes but I would not expect it anytime soon. They did stories on 2 different occasions directly about Ben's past for the first time in 15 years and STILL didn't even hint anything remotely close to a Ben return.

Having him pop up now would be so freaking far out of left field, it would complete derail the entire Superior era story, which has been nothing short of fantastic.

Someone asked at NYCC if Ben was coming back...Wacker said "No" solidly, like he says every year when that question is asked. Slott also added that Ben is "a pile of goo."

I'd like to see Ben back, but it isn't happening. Spidercide has a much better chance of coming back of any of the clones (besides Kaine of course).

I think it would be best if all parties involved, once back in their respective bodies, have only memories of the event and nothing more.
