I think it is the heels that are making his butt look as big as it does as they are doing exactly what high heels are designed to do, accentuate the ass so his height compared to Jimmy be damned I think they should get rid of them.

Nothing wrong with a guy who works out his glutes (odd sentence), but that is literally an ass most girls would kill to have for themselves.

Either way yeah those heels are oddly accentuating that. It'll be irrelevant though if his cape is always in the way.

The suit looks really good for a TV budget. I love that they didn't go overboard with a pile of fake muscle and airbrushing.

The belt is truly awful and the boots aren't great, but overall it's really solid. Nice to see Superman assume a natural posture, whereas in the Snyderverse, Superman's body language is super rigid thanks to the full-body muscle suit. Just doesn't seem right for Superman.

That costume is terrible.

It makes him look like a cosplayer. That just goes to show how important costumes for these superhero productions really are. Cavill is truly blessed to have that Wilkinson magic on his side.

The only thing Hoechlin or whatwver his name is has over henry cavill is the beautiful colors on the suit. That's the color I want for Henry. Atleast the show has a modicum of sense in that department.

The blue is okay.. The red is actually maroon.. It looks like red because it's in the light.. The suit will look exactly like how it is in the promo pic, with the colour grading and everything.. Maroon and the yucky shade yellow.

Um, no, it almost certainly won't, that's not the way the show handled lighting and color grading in season 1 and it's unlikely that they would do so for season 2, especially when none of the other shows do so.

I wouldn't say he's blessed because he still had snyder directing him so regardless of wilkinson's amazing work the final product (namely the film itself) was s**t IMO.

I like both suits. At the moment, I like Tyler's suit. It's nice to see something new and different. He looks much better in the set photos than he did in the first official photo with Kara. Not crazy about the boots, and not too certain of the cape cuffs. I've always wanted to see some take on the cape attached to the edges of Superman's shield, but not quite like the Injustice video game style. He looks Superman enough to me.

Ultimately, I like Cavill's suit better, but there's pros and cons to both. For once...they used the classic/traditional "S" logo on Tyler's suit, and not it's own version.

Prior to learning Superman would be appearing on Supergirl, I was slightly worried they were going to make the "S" red and blue, instead of yellow, and the end of the S would have that square end instead of a curve. I liked that they've given Superman and Supergirl's suits variations other than Kara's skirt.

In this pic, if you ignore the gold straps, and connector's to the cape, it reminds me of the MOS costume, maybe even BvS to a point. With the boots and belt hidden its okay. It makes me appreciate the Boots we have on Henry's costume.

Yeah, it is just like I've been saying all along Supergirl was inspired by mos/bvs/dceu when it comes to the super-suits as the body suit layer looks like a cheaper version of the dceu body suit.
