i dont think he'd intentionally lead people on by posting a desaturated pic of his normal suit. Id guess its an actual black suit.
I guess people will say Snyder doesn't get Superman and it's all too dark. But that crowd always finds ways to nitpick. The black suit is comic accurate for the story in question. There's no problem for me.
Pandering to the comic illiterate and being gutless is not something I'm into.
Indeed.Having colorful costume =/= Being heroic. The black costume has nothing to do with whether or not Superman is the "proper" Superman than it has to do with being a homage to the comics.
And if we're going by that teaser pic, he'll have his regular blue and red costume.
Complain all you want about Superman's direction in these movies, the costume is inconsequential to that.

Never try to make a superhero movie then. You'll bankrupt yourself.
Blase blase blase blah blah DC is in trouble, blah blah blase NotMyDC, blase blah something money general audience.
I don't get why people think we needed a trilogy or more of of solo films before seeing Supes die. Plenty of films have characters live and die and even live again in a single film. I feel that for some, the nature of blockbuster filmmaking has shaped their view of filmmaking overall.
I don't, in theory, have a problem with killing Superman in his second film, it's just that they've done so little with the character in two movies that it felt rushed to kill him off.I don't get why people think we needed a trilogy or more of of solo films before seeing Supes die.
