LOL!!! I could care less what the kid's name is. It's just a tad confusing when you're blistering along, scanning a thread discussing "Superman," and the name "Jason" pops up. From this SV fan's POV, it just catches my eye. Same thing would happen if I saw the names "Lionel" or "Chloe." It just jumps out atcha. No big deal.

As to why the subject was even broached here, I just wanted to know what had people in such a tizzy over in the SR forum that one of the folks who posts there PM'd me to ask what I thought. Well sheeeit. I hadn't been keeping up with the latest and not-so-greatest, so I had no clue what the PM referred to. LOL

But it's nuthin' that wasn't already reported by one insider MONTHS ago. Suffice it to say, when the Hype *deletes* whole threads (instead of just closing them), you know something's up. Try and find that thread started by the day player who was cast as a nurse and had to resuscitate BR's hospitalized Superman. You know, "CLEAR!" *bang* Well, that thread went "clear" faster than a speeding bullet. LMAO! Oh, but it was just another unsubstantiated rumor. Ahuh. Yeah.

I was just interested in the kid's name because I had a hare-brained theory: Wouldn't it be interesting if the kid's name weren't revealed till a certain critical point in the movie, and then Lois said the name, and he turned out to have Clark's middle name, or Clark's father's name, or some other name that would be significant to Clark and clue him in that it was his kid?

But it sounds like that's not the case, so I guess it was hare-brained indeed. Most of my theories turn out that way, but they're still fun to come up with.

I don't know who James Marsters is; I never watched Buffy. I saw 20 minutes of an episode once. That was more than enough. Definitely NOT my kind of show. Is Marsters older, 'cause it might be weird if he's of similar age to Welling when Welling has *already* played Jor-El.
