Something crawled up my ass as I was reading my new comics last nite that I must get off my chest and this seems like a good place. What the f*** is Chuck Austen's problem? He has some kind of obsession with healing powers that threatens to suck the tension out of any book he touches. In Avengers 493, the second part of the latest arc, Captain America gets the living hell beaten out of him and has his jaw broken in two places. Out of the blue, the Scarlet Witch mouths some mumbo jumbo about "what is the probability that I could heal his jaw? Zero, right. Well that is how my powers work." And WHAMO..she lays hands on his jaw and not only heals it but makes all the cuts and bruises on his face disappear. First Warren and now Wanda? As if this wasn't bad enough the story seems to be setting up a "brave housewife", who lost her life trying to protect Cap, as the new Captain Britain. I don't know how the hell or why he's going to pull this off. So much for seeing Brian and Meghan in action in the new Excalibur book.

Hey, it's not an X book but these events affect x books so throw me a frickin' bone.

Hey, what's up with all this Warren hating? I've heard from people that he needs to be killed off, even. I think he was cool, and needs a new direction. What do you think?

The only time I liked Warren was when he had the metal wings...... Now...he's boring IMO.
